my lags been weird lately it's like everytime i shoot my gun gets major recoil and jam... i shoot people and they don't die it's like they aren't in the spot im seeing.... i skip they skip... i've tried 2 diff modems 2 diff routers... new tv's new xobx... diff av cables db annuators to lower downstream power cause i noticed mine was a little high... still no luck i have a 50 mbps download and 5mbps up so i know i have the speeds... it's just not there when i play..any ideas on what it could be?

How to fix COD lag(and make it a fair game):

Remove perks, remove attachments, remove killcams, remove theater mode, remove killstreaks, add dedicated servers, get an engine that isn't from 1999.

@FueledByTyeler Theater mode is like a permanent killcam, it forces the server to demo every single player, and sends the demos of all others to every single player. Takes up shitloads of connection speed, not only in gameplay, but also in lobby and menu structures. And it takes space from the actual server and master servers, because they have to keep the demos for some time.

Halo doesn't really have this problem with their theater, as they have to demo only one view.

Also, demo recording is not mandatory to basic gameplay, but in COD there has to be demo recording for the Killcams and the Theater Mode, else you wouldn't gett all the information.
