  • I always suspected Beatrice Arthur of being a man in drag.

  • great job! 5/5! thanks very much for this great vid!

  • great intros i want outros

  • Regarding "The Bob Newhart Show", that actually came out in 1970. It aired on Saturday nights after Mary Tyler Moore Show on CBS.

  • @jamesadrian021957 ... Actually Bob Newhart Show started in the fall of 1972, but yes it did follow Mary on CBS Saturday nights. Mary Tyler Moore began fall of 1970.

  • @dmarshallok We watched it as a family in 1970 - a family that broke up in the fall of 1971. In the spring of 1972, I was placed in a state children's home because our parents didn't want us.

Now, tell me, how did I watch Bob Newhart in a house my dad and stepmom lived in AFTER said dad and stepmom divorced and we vacated the house???

I knew of Bob Newhart before we went to the home, and while there didn't watch him nor did I watch him after we left and went to various foster homes.

  • @jamesadrian021957, thank you for the family history.

The first episode of The Bob Newhart Show aired September 16, 1972. It's a pretty easy search on Google or Wikipedia.

  • @dmarshallok Google has it wrong.

As I posted earlier, my dad was WITH US when we watched it. He moved out in October 1971. We were in a state run children's home in April 1972.

I also have the first season DVD that shows 9/16/72 for the airdate of the first episode. However, I know what I remember.

On a side note, I saw the movie "Raise The Titanic" while I was stationed at Homestead AFB in 1979 when my mother-in-law was in town. The movie claims it came out in 1980; I was in TN then.

  • Awww the Walton's classic. All of these shows rocked:))))

  • This is cool, but this particular "Maude" intro wasn't from 1972. Hermione Baddeley wasn't on the show until a few years later.

  • How did you get all these data?

  • @vaughanja research.

  • I believe the Emergency Intro is from the pilot episode

  • RIP Dave Carradine

  • I swear John Boy way gay lol!!!!

  • Damn, I forgot Kate Jackson was in the Rookies... she was so hot back then.

  • @JP5466 she still is today

  • I agree, but I prefer her without all that facial surgery.

  • Great TV season, one of my favs. Except for Maude, boo!

  • Being someone that's into game shows, thank you for including The Joker's Wild. That and Family Feud are my all time favorites.

  • F.A.C.S. stands for "Fellow of the American College of Surgeons".

  • @CraigFoye80 Wow, I've wondered about that for 35 years or so! Thanks!

  • @CraigFoye80 Wow, I've wondered about that for 35 years or so! Thanks!

  • Well, Doug, I really didn't choose them so much as include the shows that came out in those years. I'm glad you liked some of them though.

  • OMG! You are digging into the highlights of my younger years, I remember every one of these shows, the only ones I didn't care for on this clip were Maude, and Sanford & Son, other than that, excellent choices for shows.
