Thank you for sharing these! I missed all but one episode on Finnish TV a while back, so I was very happy to find them here. Lars is a great man and Foss the nicest dog I've seen in a while.. Now I need to get a dog and head north! :)

Thank you so much. I have hiked about 10 years and i'm just 21 now. Lars' hikes warms my soul and it was nice to see the episodes where he was in Lemmenjoki and Vätsäri. I haven't been there yet. In future i will hike in Norway and Sweden too. I can recomment areas near Halti/Raisduottarhaldi and Saariselkä (Urho Kaleva Kekkonen's nationalpark) for every scandinavian hikers and everyone of course. To the wilderness! :)

This is the way we Scandinavian people can relax in the nature.We have it so close to us,don't have to go to the wilderness,"normal" nature near some cities are far from 'real' cities. I though enjoy all kinds of travelling but the nature is the best.

All good things must come to an end. But fear not, Monsen fans! I'm going to get to work on the DVD extras soon (mostly detailed advice about campcraft etc.), and try to upload "Across Canada" and "On tour with Lars Monsen", two of Lars' other expeditions. No promises about the latter, though, as I haven't worked out how to rip the DVD on my computer. Eeh, this modern technology... ;)
