i cant get the flame to go out when i only use two fingers like you did, but when i wipe my hand over the flame it goes all the way out. help please =/

@anthrx0 hey, sorry this took this long, i was on vaction:P but umm i just weatched ur video, i saw a few issues that might help you fix your problem:) i heard a fan in the backround, you can not do this trick anywhere near wind or a fan, the other problem is you look a little younger its hard to tell, but it might just be your fingers, try taking your two fingers like i did and then put ur middle finger on top or your index's fingers nail:) hope that helps good luck:D

dont your fingers get burnt if your touching the metal and the flame?

@prosktr122 no if u leave ur fingers in the flame they will get burnt but if you leave ur zippo to sit and cool down so the metal doesnt get hot, it will not burn you, just adjust the wich try the trick and if it doesnt work adjust the flame and wait 2 or 3 minutes to try again and the flame will not burn you, im a pyro:P but as long as your steady and realitivley quick it wont even feel hot

@mikeldelapuente well the tricks are pretty cool, its a neat hobby to collect and play with them and if u smoke its just a classy lighter, they're durable and have a life time warrentiy if anything ever goes wrong with it, u can send it to the comapany and they will fix or replace it, over all a very good investment i would say

@privateknights18 umm not really if ur unsure pull the wick up to expose a new one and cut in flush with the chimney and that should be the perfect size

it doesnt hurt at all, as long as the chimneys not to hot it will not hurt in the least way, just keep ur fingers in contact with the top of the lighter and the trick should work

You might be putting the flame out completely, try fixing your wick, then if the same problem keeps happening, try putting more fuel in your zippo

no it doesn't hurt at all but only do the trick maybe 3 or 4 times, then let your lighter cool down, because the chimney does start to hot :)

you have to keep contact with the top of the chimney so so can steal the flame, the blue flame is the flame still smouldering under the wick
