I DO NOT understand why only a few people have reviewed Soir on youtube. It is one of my favorite fragrances of all time. Seriously... It's so fresh and warm at the same time. go check that out at neiman marcus or possibly a nordstroms. you wont be dissapointed. athough it seems like you like more masculine scents. im a guy and its fresh like a mountain top and not exactly woodsy

Kenzo Power! Oh how I love it. To it I'll add both Un Jardin sur le Nil and Un Jardin en Méditerranée. I'm picky with summer fragrances.. I haven't found anything aside from those that really blow me away :(
@CanwllCorfe615 Ooh, I LOVE Sur le Nil. Meditrranee didn't work so well on me, though. You should smell Brooklyn. It has that pine-y sharpness that sur le nil also has.

I actually smelled womans perfumes for awhile the other day.. And, some body sprays as well. And, it just seems like the selection is horrible. Its all way too sweet. I have yet to come across something that is womanly to me. And, makes me want to pick up a girl and... well.. ya.

Hi Teresa, I just made my own Youtube video on Bulgari PH Soir. I actually see this as more of a fall/winter myself. As far as tea frags and spring go, you should really check out 212 Men by Carolina Herrera. More of a green tea IMO.

My current favorite cologne is Bvlgari Pour Homme. I tried out the Soir version for the first time yesterday. I found it to be extremely attractive. I also tried out 15 other colognes, but I kept going back to the Soir. Another one that came close is Gucci Sport. That one's lovely as well. I'll buy Soir from Amazon ASAP. Bvlgari Pour Homme and Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir will be tied for 1st place in my favorite colognes category:) Nice and honest review!
I own Kenzo Power. I REALLY love that one! The lady who sold it to me said that it's the only cologne that has the zest plant in it. The ONLY thing I don't like about Power is that I can't mix it with anything else that has a scent (lotion, strong face wash or soap, oil). It's like it hates to intermingle with others.
@slesperado A zest plant? I have no idea what that means....but okay! And I totally know what you mean about the "mix" factor. Alien by Thierry Mugler is the same way (but for a different reason...Alien is a diva)
@ariscotm Well... The lady who sold it to me was from Israel, and her English wasn't all that great. She didn't specify what she meant, because there are lots of flowers that put the word "zest" behind them. There's also a company in New Zealand named Zest, and they export flowers. I wish she would have been more specific.
I would love to try Gucci Sport, but I really need to quit blind buying these frags, as great as they may be. I am currently expecting some samples of Hugo Energise based on Cubby's spring recommendations. Hope to find a cheap sample of Gucci Sport some day. @bpwool Hey, Man! Gucci Sport is a very warm and sweet cologne. If you're into sweet colognes, you should definitely try it out. I personally love sweet colognes. I tried out Gucci Sport 3 days ago for the first time, and I fell in love with it. I'm definitely going to buy that in the near future. It also has a little hint of spice to it:)
Based on this video and another for spring cologne picks, I decided to get a bottle of Tom Ford Grey Vetiver. I wore it to work on Friday. I liked it, and plan to rotate it through spring and also summer. Keep the cologne videos coming. Great to get a woman's perspective, especially since you talk like you have a clue about such things.

Based on your recommendations, I picked up Power and L'Eau D'Issey. I, like you, was a little late to the Issey Miyake party, I'd never smelled it before. All I can say, is: WOW! Thank you! I have found my summer signature! I even bought a second bottle, the new wood edition with the all-wood bottle. Just amazing. Power, on the other hand, I'm still trying to figure out. I bought it because I love the top notes. The drydown... well, it's growing on me. Keep up the great reviews!
@MikeNY911 I've been wanting to smell the wood edition!!!! What do you think?? The trick with Power is smelling "through" the acidic notes to it. But I like the acidic part of it :)
@ariscotm The wood edition smells too much like the original to warrant another purchase unless you want the awesome bottle like I did. I wonder if the fragrance might pick up some more of the wood over the next year or so as it ages, like a cask. I just tried the summer 2010 edition and smell no difference, at least on paper. Btw, power is growing on me more and more... like some others, I bet it'll soon just "click" with me.

@Fejosol Hi Fernando! Glad you like the video! Platinum Egoiste is very pleasant and wearable. It's only fault, I would say, is that it's a bit boring. But like I said, it's still very nice. In general, I think women will like it very much. It's fresh and clean, but still very masculine. Let me know what you think of it!

@weakkitten Not any perfumes. Bath and Body Works here in the States has a scent that's "Cucumber Melon." I'm sure I can remember Tim (tswetcoff) mentioning a few fragrances that have either cucumber or melon in them, so maybe you should hit him up for it.

I went to the Scent Bar yesterday and picked up L'air Du Desert Marrocian and Dia Man. I almost bought By Kilian but Straight to Heaven and BtoB was sold out. Didnt know there were people like me that find Fragrances as a pure work of art enabling us to journey back in time, and able to give sense to our dreams that words can't describe.
is L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme really that good? I just bought it for $57 I sprayed some on I asked my older sister Im 16 btw, and my sister didn't like it :/

@fmlygyfntc Returning it should be okay, i think. Beware of overspraying. Do YOU like it? Or are you basing it on what your sister said? I'd recommend wearing one spray of it on the back of your hand, then smelling it throughout the day to see if YOU like it. See how it progresses and try to decide what you do and don't like about it. If the goods outweigh the bads, give it a chance!

so i went into sephora earlier today and tested out the kenzo power it was good i liked it. but it didnt last to long on me lol . my skin was dry tho idn deff give it another chance but i just brought another bottle of issey miyake since i was running out of it. and its my freinds bday next week so i picked her up ysl parisienne.love ittttt . i think its a gorgeous perfume for women idn if u have smelt it b4 but its deff wat i would want my girl to smell like
@eddieishott29 Yeah, I guess I never even consider longevity in fragrance since nothing lasts long on my skin. Sometimes the sephora employees will give you a sample if you ask. Especially if you are buying stuff already. I haven't smelled Parisienne. I'll definitely give it a chance. I've not had a lot of love for YSL fragrances in the past, but I'll definitely open my mind up to it :). Thanks for the recommendation!
I rarely spray on clothes. One way that scent seems to last longer on me is a weird trick. I spray it on the back of my neck instead of the front. This might just be because of the oiliness from my hair (my hair isn't very oily, but there's still some, I'm sure). Also--this avoids the taste-of-fragrance-on-the-neck if someone kisses you there...a problem that I sadly don't currently have. But also a problem i'm not looking to get, either, haha.
GREAT review, i feel that Kenzo power is defiantly unisex, Cartier is great i like the mint in it. and ya Platinum is AMAZING its my signature scent, i got a review about it to, but overall great review :)
Good video and Issey is like the "fresh tea" god fragrance to me. I dont care how popular it is its one of the most versitile fragrances on the market.

no i don't think so at least on the top of my head. i could say i have a few that should be looked at before i left i was falling in love with tom ford's grey vetiver & hermes jardin sur le nil which arent as mainstream but def. great spring scents

Nice choices!
Bvlgari PH Soir is alright but to me it's too peppery (almost salty, like table-salt&pepper), which is why i swapped it to Tim lol. Great vid!

@weakkitten Not any perfumes. Bath and Body Works here in the States has a scent that's "Cucumber Melon." I'm sure I can remember Tim (tswetcoff) mentioning a few fragrances that have either cucumber or melon in them, so maybe you should hit him up for it.

Hey there! I saw your other video and you pushed me over the edge on my niche purchases. I been using Amouage and found Dia Man to be my favorite. I been wanting to try By Kilian and L'air Du Desert Morrocain and will be going to the Scent Bar tomorrow to pick up a few bottles and samples. I'll make a video review and tell you how it is!

Yes. This will be fun! I'll make a Video on all my Niche Fragrances Tomorrow and follow up with reviews. They are all amazing! I went to the Scent Bar yesterday and picked up L'air Du Desert Marrocian and Dia Man. I almost bought By Kilian but Straight to Heaven and BtoB was sold out. Didnt know there were people like me that find Fragrances as a pure work of art enabling us to journey back in time, and able to give sense to our dreams that words can't describe.

is L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme really that good? I just bought it for $57 I sprayed some on I asked my older sister Im 16 btw, and my sister didn't like it :/
I technically bought it blind though xD but I want to return it, but Im scared that macy's won't accept it anymore I only sprayed it once... my mom's gonna kill me xD

@fmlygyfntc Returning it should be okay, i think. Beware of overspraying. Do YOU like it? Or are you basing it on what your sister said? I'd recommend wearing one spray of it on the back of your hand, then smelling it throughout the day to see if YOU like it. See how it progresses and try to decide what you do and don't like about it. If the goods outweigh the bads, give it a chance!

so i went into sephora earlier today and tested out the kenzo power it was good i liked it. but it didnt last to long on me lol . my skin was dry tho idn deff give it another chance but i just brought another bottle of issey miyake since i was running out of it. and its my freinds bday next week so i picked her up ysl parisienne.love ittttt . i think its a gorgeous perfume for women idn if u have smelt it b4 but its deff wat i would want my girl to smell like

@eddieishott29 Yeah, I guess I never even consider longevity in fragrance since nothing lasts long on my skin. Sometimes the sephora employees will give you a sample if you ask. Especially if you are buying stuff already. I haven't smelled Parisienne. I'll definitely give it a chance. I've not had a lot of love for YSL fragrances in the past, but I'll definitely open my mind up to it :). Thanks for the recommendation!

I rarely spray on clothes. One way that scent seems to last longer on me is a weird trick. I spray it on the back of my neck instead of the front. This might just be because of the oiliness from my hair (my hair isn't very oily, but there's still some, I'm sure). Also--this avoids the taste-of-fragrance-on-the-neck if someone kisses you there...a problem that I sadly don't currently have. But also a problem i'm not looking to get, either, haha.

GREAT review, i feel that Kenzo power is defiantly unisex, Cartier is great i like the mint in it. and ya Platinum is AMAZING its my signature scent, i got a review about it to, but overall great review :)

I own all of these except the Bvlgari. I have yet to smell that one. I love all the others though. LOVE the Roadster.

Good video and Issey is like the "fresh tea" god fragrance to me. I dont care how popular it is its one of the most versitile fragrances on the market.

no i don't think so at least on the top of my head. i could say i have a few that should be looked at before i left i was falling in love with tom ford's grey vetiver & hermes jardin sur le nil which arent as mainstream but def. great spring scents

thank you sooooo much u did a great job : ) your very detailed in your reviews.i like that.but yea u have really good taste i must say.i have issey and i just got plat.egoiste about a week ago. smells alot like abercrombies fierce if you ever tryed that out.but yea never smelt kenzo power b4 . sounds interesting im deff gonna go to sephora and test it out soon .looking for summer fragrances is hard lol. but thank you again for your time you are 1 of the best fragrance reviewers out there : )
