  • having used clearview and the fms( i know lol) ive had my eye on the easy fly 5..i dont need an eloborate sim just something to stay sharp on when weather doesnt coopreate..you would recomend easy fly?

  • nice vid Dave, I always like to fly AFPD Deluxe butI would prefer this new version for sure, great graphics, love the sceneries and models.

  • wow thats wayyyy to expensive! im sorry but with 250 buck to 300 i would rather get another plane :D im just a teanager so you know i make little money but it looks good for like a rainy day and does anyone know how much an RC Blimp costs cuz now i want one. haha

  • Why doesn't the seagull fly away when you flew the helicopter up to it? lol

  • I have an oldie but goodie: FS One.

  • Dave is it a good idea to buy stuff from BananaHobby(.)com

That's the only company that ships to Estonia.

  • I don't have the program yet, but it would be nice if they can make the weather more realistic , like the cloud moving, in coming storm, and most of all different wind speed at different height (elevation) , because I've flown at a big park once with the wind at 5mph but the higher up you fly the wind blew at 15-18mph, near the ground slower winds due to obstacles.

  • that look like rel life

  • on my sim i try choose the twichiest plane heli i cand find so its easier in real life and it also helps with reaction times

  • If anyone knows, or cares, is there any people who have a 30" - 40" wingspan scale p51 mustang available for download to Aerofly Pro Deluxe? I'm only 14 and I cant afford the 5.5 version. :( I love flying my real real mustang (I built myself) whenever I can. :) It has a 35" wingspan, and Since I've spent about a month repairing it after a bad crash, I want to be able to practice with a simalir plane before flying my real one and risk crashing it again.

    great videos dave!

    -Thanks :)

  • I have an idea...test out a real rc blimp that would be interesting

  • I tried asking the club photographer to try get a panoramic picture of the field so I could import it for use in my Realflight... turns out its a lot harder then first thought! Which is a damn shame. :(

  • I like my Realflight

  • All sims just seem to have a little problem sounding real.

  • But some landscapes look very real like some kind of streetview pictures :D

( That was my question :)

  • Some of this game looks so real that it's scary! You could have fooled me! At first I thought it was real footage!

  • my sim is clearview

  • @crystalnjohn06 That is a great sim. I have made a video review on it. It will also run on a simple laptop, not needing a big card where this AF 5.5 needs that to run as smooth as this does.

  • thank you so much.i fly a exi 450 v2 and when i first flew it , it was nothing like the sim. the sim was like in the land of perfect with a perfect heli and perfect set up.my real heli was not perfect and did not fly that way.

  • @crystalnjohn06 Your welcome. Well If you flew it on this sim, Ill bet you would find that it would be closer than any other sims you tried.

  • Thanks.

  • High Dave I was just wondering what don't you like about real flight g5.5

  • @ograymare I never said I didn't like RealFlight or specifically its latest version, as it is good. What I said was that I still prefer Aerofly. And why? It looks and flies closer to the real models, which I also fly, so can give good comparisons. People who never flew a real model, have no clue as what is better, til they do. Good question.

  • @NightFlyyer Are there actually RC Blimps/Zeppelins out there you can buy? Ive seen crappy ones, which are basically a shaped balloon with a propeller attached.

  • that diamond da 42 looks like the dynam grand gruiser in nitro form

  • wooow i thought the video was real hahaha, amazing graphics!

  • @MrEDDFire Thanks kindly. They even blow me away.

  • Are there reallife pictures or is everything animated?

  • @Highspeedfutzi Only me flying my computer is a real picture, but all the screen shots, flights, etc are from the simulator program. And believe me, in person, they are like "being in the picture" and even more real. Thanks.

  • thats a beautiful epiphone 12 string you have there you should do a guitar collection video!

  • @RcUniverseGuy Ha ha. Good eye. I actually have a few videos published of my Epiphone, my Q-Chord and my You Rock Digital guitar and show many of my guitars in there. Thanks for the kind words and suggestion. I may do something soon. ~NightFlyyer~

  • VERY NICE !

  • I have the AFPD and one of these days I will upgrade to 5.5. I have tried ever simulator made and Aerofly is the most realistic simulator. I use my DX7 with it and this is the only simulator that will run on the Mac OS without rebooting to Windows. Sometimes tech support is a pain because I had to replace a bad cable but I would highly recommend this simulator.

  • @photobart1 Thanks. Yep, I purchased the upgrade from my AFPD for less, and it went right in no hassle and of course AFPD is fantastic in itself, but this program is mind boggling, and why it won all the top awards world wide. You would love the upgrade. Thanks again for your comments.

  • Wow. Great timing on the vid.. Your review of Aerofly 5.5 makes me happy I got outbid on ebay for RealFlight 5.5. Much appreciated !

  • @enoshthecat Thanks very much. You will find this sim quite a thrill.

  • the one thing i dont like about any of these sims is the camera angle and positioning.

Half the time the fly byes are inches away from you. Thats never going to happen in real life.

  • @flyingchimp99 Haha. Are you kidding? Do you have Aerofly 5.5 to make that statement? I can change the camera angle on this to anyplace I want. I fly close to myself. If you fly too close with other sims, the plane or heli disappears.

  • @NightFlyyer thats not what i meant. Have you flew a twin engine plane that would probably kill you or injure you really badly- mere inches from you. I know im no that ambitious. I know you can change angles of the camera but what i tried to say was......you shouldn't be able to fly it that close to you. The perception isn't that great. I watched the vid 3 times. Im just saying what i saw

  • @flyingchimp99 Gee man..? The camera was zoomed in just to show clarity and demo the program. (I can zoom in or out when flying) I wasn't as close to me as you say, if I zoomed out. There are lots of things you can do on a sim, that you would not do in real life. But if you ever flew with us, you would find yourself on a narrow road, flying close by to take off and land or do high speed passes. And all of us who fly helis, big or small, fly them right up close. Relax....its only a sim!

  • @NightFlyyer you said it yourself.......its only a sim. That brings me back to what i said in my original comment.

there not all perfect. But i bet you in a few years.....they will be.

  • @NightFlyyer I tend to fly up close and personal, have had to force myself to fly further away, but I still get close in, even with heavy ic planes. I'm not saying it's good or clever but I like it, and I'm comfortable with it. Prolly wont stop till I kill myself by collision, lol. Don't anyone get upset, just my 2 pence worth.

  • Thank you so much Dave, I was just about getting ready to buy my first sim (best) one in the market.. for both helicopter and planes... I trust your opinion and experience more than anyone elsees.. thanks again buddy...

  • @LTF85199 Thanks very much. You will like this sim as what you see here is just a fraction of what you get.

Good luck and happy flying. ~NightFlyyer~
