Like most cut to length heads it has fixed knife blades and the edges of the grabbing arms are also knives. I work for Tigercat and a couple months ago we start machining the knife arms for the TH575 harvesting heads.

I wonder when some tree harvesters would be posted I was near a plant Woodstock Ontario but its move to the U.S.

barndoor55 There is still a Tigercat plant in Woodstock. I don't know how busy they are but at Cambridge plant we are absoultly swamped with work. If you know anyone put out of work at the John Deere/Timberjack plant tell them to try applying at Tigercat. No promises though.

I was a standby with security but I have since left and no vechicle but they move me arround to Timberjack when some one was off so I spared but was impressed with the machines way back in 99 and one night one of the machines rolled around on a moonless night an I thought it the movie Transformer
