@LordCaoCao155 Very true. I loved chamber of secrets and prisoner of azkaban on gamecube. I loved how you could explore the castle and pretty much do anything you wanted. Then this game came out and it was all linear, I tried to get into it but it was just too boring.

Yes, you can. You have to have another keyboard or a controller that would work. To do this, you have to go under the Goblet of Fire program and click Controller configuration or something like that. You click what controller you want to use, and you configure it.

If they had done it similar to the previous three - exploring Hogwarts decently, a fluid storyline, being able to attend classes - and had kept the GOOD innovations, this would have probably been the best HP game ever.

@ManelinhoAraujinho I personally welcomed the break from exploring Hogwarts. I really don't like to spend 5 minutes playing emulated walking around a building. If they made the exploration more like Lego Harry Potter, then I would like it better. Order of the Phoenix was a horrible game. I stopped buying after that, but Half Blood doesn't look that bad. In my opinion, I liked all of them except Order. Order was a floater.

@nikebauer1993 It depends on the platform you use, but the remake of Philosopher's Stone, Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban (all on PS2 and the last 2 also on PC) allow plenty of free exploration. Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince also offer free exploration (PS2, PS3 and PC), but in a castle equal to he movies' and you don't get to attend any classes besides Potions in the last one. :)

The first 2 "Philosopher's stone" and chamber of secrets in GBC are the best. I was introduced to HP series by the GBC games, neither the book nor the movie first.

The 1st 2 were games based on the books, whilst the rest of them were based on the movies, that's why the latest ones suck.

@ppshchik No, the first two games were based on the movies as well. The troll is similarly designed as in the movie, as is Quirrel, Filch, Snapes are modelled after the actors who played them. The second game even has the staircases from the movie and the location of the finale in the sewers is exactly the same. So, yeah.

@skyarsalan I loved the third part. I think it's still the best and closest to capturing the feel of the books, but after that the movies sort of became their own thing. I think it's because the movies are set more in the present day, whereas the books were set in the '90s, but also more subtler things. The books are definitely better, but the movies seem to me now as a world on their own, in contrast to the LOTR movies that to me captured the spirit perfectly of the source material.

Worst Harry Potter game of them all...Half Blood Prince was second last...the first three games were among the best, I found Order of the Phoenix the most realistic, so much to do...school during the day...fighting the Death Eaters at night, lol...you can practically visit everywhere in the school...enough said.

I'm glad I found someone who finally agrees with me too. I at least wish they didn't make all those changes on the castle, the grounds, and the school uniforms since Prisoner of Azkaban. For example, there's the new location of Hagrid's hut, the Whomping Willow and the Fat lady's portrait, that bridge, and the entrance hall used to be in front of the great hall, now it's a courtyard! The uniforms consisted of black robes with gray sweaters in the first two. Now their different!
