Funny how much alike wild turkeys and chickens are. They both travel in groups, communicate with clucking and go to roost in the evening, the only difference being the turkey's roost is about 40' higher in the air. It's virtually predator-free up there. Now if you can just figure out how to get them to lay you some eggs you'd be in business.
@Brown1286 Turkeys are a lot like chickens. They lay eggs once a year. I think you saw my videos in the spring and early summer of these birds hatching. I hope to have more laying eggs in the food plot and hatch some more.
Neat video Ed We go out to the woods find their roost then go back the next morning and shoot them as they come down I find a lot of turkey poop in my deer stand also :)
That's pretty cool!! I didn't even know they could fly, I've only ever seen them running!! Looks like a few of them will be ready for Thanksgivin' eh Buddy!!☺
