@wheleerz I saw it right now for the first time and I also really really loved it, although I got that he was the mother instantly so that wasn't really a shocker for me at the end there, this Norman character was clearly schizo and the mother character was so contradicting from scene to scene so I can't see how anyone can be shocked to find out he was her, maybe noone was and I'm just acting elitist by assuming that, well well, great movie.
The eye was sooo creepy...but it's kind of odd that Norman is looking through the peephole when... oh, don't want to spoil the surprise for people who haven't seen the full film.

Damn I love Anthony Perkins in this movie. Note his crooked smile, his stuttering, and how awkward of a speaker he is. Beautifully cast.
You did miss a lot of the point in this trailer I am afraid. You should have started out with a couple scenes from the beginning that show her story unfolding, then changed to one of the car scenes where she is recapping on what's happened so far in her head. Then done a few of the creep shots, all leading up to the shower scene.
Unfortunately for Perkins, this WAS the role he was born to play. He fit the part so well that casting people didn't give Perkins a chance to play anything else. It's a great film, and his performance was dead on. I also would have liked to see more about her story, but it's still a wonderful video.
Actually, you got the whole idea wrong. Your compilation shows a neat bit of the first half of the movie, although it doesn't show any of the second roles characters...
