Statistically more women are abused than men. I know that it seems unfair to the men who are abused. But that is reality. I personally don't know of any men who are/were physically abused by their parner. But I sure know of plenty women.

Really pleased it is now illegal to refuse to help male victims in california.

fyi laura's house does provide help for male victims of domestic violence but for the safety of the female victims can't provide shelter but they help get male victims to the shelter that is for male victims

What a load of crap.

Plenty of women in shelters are dangerous and violent, not to mention children, so they are no more of a safety risk than having men around.

If you're that concerned about safety you should have self contained units for each family.
