This guy has been proven as a fraud, but the problem is he will not debate the other side and our media will not mention they exist. They fete this guy like he is some seer on a mountain. The guy is wrong about everything he says. If you read people like Dean Baker, Ha-joon Chang, Stiglitz, you realize that capitalism is always been about state intervention, tariffs, protectionism, nationalism. There is no free market. I think that Friedmann in his book: The Lexus and the Olive Tree" gives amazging explanations so far the economics is concerned. Not, regarding his poltiical views on the US as the sole possesor of morality in the world I disagree completely. Vietnam, Iraq, there are still questions about a war, Vietnam started on a lie: the gulf of tonkin. While negroes could not enjoy freedom back home, the US wanted to "liberate" Vietnam...Hypocrisy at it's worst.

sigh - i have heard and read of this explanation before - is there a deeper more profound "eureka" type of explanation that he can give? - writers often want to have this certain mysticism that leaves readers hanging and intellectually stimulated, but this one is really a give away...
