Right now I'm sort of in the same situation, I'm in a cast right now and waiting for the doctors to do a MRI on me so they can see how they can help me with my ankle injury...

Man this must have been before the anesthesia wore off. I remember when I came out of surgery once that anesthesia wore off it was terrible

Because after surgery their tends to be swelling. They wait till the swelling goes down then they out a hard cast.

The thing on your finger measures your pulse and your blood oxygen levels. Commonly refered to as a pulse ox.
