what does he mean no growth? did he beat the game without upping his stats at all? and if he did what's the difficulty set to?

@Nomnia Yup, he started off with a fresh Dante, no upgrade in any of his devil arms, guns and styles.

And he's doing it in the hardest difficulty - Dante Must Die. Oh, and you can see that he did not upgrade his HP and power bar.
