That isn't W12. it is two V 6s. There is a difference in the angle of the pistons. and therefore the firing order.

A V8 350 Chevy with have a load of torque but it would be pissed all over by the standard 3.2 4-motion golf.

How is the engine in the back being cooled?

2 problems spring to mind with this design

1) tire rated capacity for weight and stress

2) structural limits of the body for example the guage of sheetmetal is obviously thinner as this was a small less than 1.6L engine originally. Was a new frame welded together to support the forces the engine and added weight would create?

for problem number one, as you can see they're not the stock rims and tires and not to mention the car at most weighs 3,000 lbs. second problem, there is an entire roll cage through out the car which increases rigidity. Don't worry about the "design" if these guys can do such complicated work they are way way way more educated than you.

Although the reality is its NOT a W12. It's 2 V6's. It's not mecanno, they dont fuse to become one engine, their still 2 seperate engines. A true W engine is like the Veyron engine imho.

Nonetheless, i have a mental note that says " DO NOT FUCK WITH THE CRAZY WHITE LUPO"
