How is their behavior compared to a German Shepherd? Because I loved my German Shepherd but I really love the look of the Shiloh Shepherd.

Wauw, just waauw, can't say anything more than that ! :) I just discovered the Shiloh yesterday and fell in love. Reign (is this the Shiloh?) has such beautiful grace and he shows a lot of affection. Greetings from Belgium! :)

I've recently rescued a dog that was touted as a Shiloh - he was definitely rough and malnourished when i got him. He's gained 25-30 pounds since I got him and literally looks JUST like yours. Floppy left ear and all. I can't wait for him to fully come into himself. He's 2, 100 pounds, and magnificent.

i love german shepherds ( but hate the abnormal slanted/banana shaped back of the german shepherd show dogs ) .....is a shiloh shepherd basically the same as a german shepherd....e.g temprament...energy ect ???

i have a german shepherd and she doesn't have the slanted back. i hate it when they do, it looks awful. shiloh shepherds are bred with Malamute's so their temperment is probably different.

My dog, Rigel, may have been a Shiloh. He passed away last summer, but left me with a love for the breed (yes, I've met several other Shilohs). I lucked out in rescuing him, and hope to one day find another Shiloh best friend, not to show, but to be my companion, and to train as a therapy dog (I'm a medical student) to help in my work in the hospital.

If I could afford a Shiloh, I'd adopt one now. They're WONDERFUL companions- intelligent, noble, gentle. Truly family. Thank you for sharing.

Shilohs are GREAT dogs! We lost our old boy 2 years ago, (same floppy left ear as the dog here, same coloring) and we recently got our second, a female we call Sunny. A great beauty and the sweetest pup...24 wks old, almost 60 pounds! If you canget on a list to get a shiloh baby, let me tell you, it'll be your 'once in a lifetime dog' experience...every time. Amazing creatures.

I have just gotten in line for a female plush hopeing black/sliver from shadow gate farms and i am soo excited i love puppies but so far i've had all mucle dog like pits and this will be a change have a nice day

YOU WILL LOVE HER! They are the smartest sweetest and most loving dogs ever! Sunny is now 7 months, 70 pounds of crazy happy puppy energy and we adore her. She has never required anything but love and understanding She is well behaved in public but able to have silly baby fun at the dog park or romping on the beach or in the fields and woods. Be patient and make her days and her time with you about fun and you will grow the most amazing dog you have even had!

The Retriever is a old dog the german and the shiloh are closer in age and play all the time the retriever likes it that way.

They are a rare breed that is being developed and they are a wonderful dog. The music well the band is a local band from Calgary and they are called The Dudes and I think they are very good again sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

Wow Reign is beautiful. I have never heard of shiloh shepherds. They looks almost like a wolf. I like them.
