I remember i saw this on TV when i was maybe 9 or 10. Me and my mate were looking for something to watch and we came across this on TV. Yes it was actually on TV in Australia once lol. I managed to find it on VCR at a video shop a few years later back before DVDs. I watched it a shit ton and got bored of it. Over the years i moved away, the video shop sold all its VCR's and god knows where that movie is now. The good old days.
If anyone is wondering, the film is called "Sahara" (1995) it stars James Belushi and an interesting role for Michael Massee playing "Frenchy" it's a remake of an earlier film in 1943 also called Sahara starring Humphrey Bogart...in my opinion the original is by far a better film, but I do enjoy this version.

Yeah, I found it odd that this movie has largely disappeared..
although not as good as the original, it was still and excellent movie and in fact this one i saw first before Bogarts

I got a copy off e b a y. It was for showtime and never made it to the theaters. Probably a pirate copy made in Taiwan.
