When bands go mainstream they end up sucking balls because once they get paid they have no reason to put out good music for the people you fucking idoit.

personaly, i think the reason bands become 'crap' when there mainstream is because they can make more records, cause they have more money. and in general, iff a band makes more records they change, and people dont like there fav bands when they change so yeah. just my opinion :L

@chrislpurdy Its really up to the band really. Because when a band gotten into mainstream they start recording on major studios. And studios people are really bitch to the fucking neck, they will make the band do change things in their songs so that it "fitted" to those many brain-dead disney channel, green-days faggets. Some band end up with good studios and managers survive the gay-wash but rarely :)

EVERY band will enevitabley change with the more records they produce, there sound will mature, will change, take trivium for example, when they released the crusade theyd changed from ascendancy, and then again with shogun, and alot of people dont like em, because they dont like the newer stuff.
