i think he's a captain. over in europe i believe the higher rank have fewer stripes. i'm a flight attendant in the US and i have 2 stripes on my coat sleeves, and when im in germany people ask me if im a captain or first officer

actually one stripe is the official for flight attendant....2 stripes if for flight engeneer which most do not have anymore, 3 for first officer, 4 captain...thats why everyone thinks your a pilots because 2 stripes is actually not a flight attendant.
