@beargun You mean venison? They were a little small to offer much meat at the time of the video...they're full grown now, but definitely not being killed for food. They're still quite friendly and love marshmallows. lol
@lindscatlover She's alive and well...we pulled those two fawns because she's older and raising fawns is really hard on her, plus we wanted to add a couple of bottle raised fawns to our herd because they're calmer and will help calm the rest of the herd down. The two fawns in the video are now about 3/4 of the size of a full grown adult and are doing great as well.
@carebearnmbr46 I'm actually trying something new that a lot of the deer breeders are doing... straight vitamin D milk (whole milk with the red cap at the grocery store). And adding in 1/2 cup of milk replacer to each gallon of milk. It's working very well for me and a lot of the deer guys are saying doing this has given them some of the healthiest deer they've ever seen...so far mine seem to be growing like weeds so I think I'm on the right track.
