  • i done this 2 christmas-s a go. i gave her a DVD. >:D

So it all turned out well. took her 1hour and 30 minutes to open- WITH an eletrical knife :)

    She wasnt impressed.

DOING IT AGAIN THIS YEAR! WOO!

  • and you all know how bad it is to be perforated.

  • lol is that the doors and windows gap filler from home depot :)

  • @zipptap yep. The kind that hardens.

  • I wish I'd seen this before. I mean, V-Day is just around the corner.

  • Cooler Hund

  • If I recall *MY* chemistry well, a small atomizer of regular unleaded might make the UNwrapping quite a bit easier. :D

    (Gas melts polystyrene type products)

  • True, but when you melt polystyrene with an organic solvent (such as gasoline or acetone), it doesn't dissolve completely. You're left with residue - dangerous fumes, and never mind if the GIFT is made from petro-plastics as well. No melty presents! :(

  • @TaoOfPooh26 LOL! If I got a styrofoam gift after all that work, I'd be just as mad whether it melted or not. ;)

Actually, it was more fun using plain old spray paint back in high school. We tried to paint a styro sheet once, and it didn't work well, but it sure was pretty!

  • @TaoOfPooh26 Damn. youtube deleted my comment. Saying that I'd be just as mad whether or not it melted my present, after all that work, if it turned out to be a styro-gift. :)

Also that spray paint seems to etch styros pretty well: found that out while ruining a high school project. :)

  • Haha, crazy!

  • dude lay off the sugar...

  • i think some of my friends are going to kill me now. perhaps, just to make it worst. mad wrap a note, saying where the real present is.

  • Did you actually give someone a penguin figure or is this just a demonstration?

  • Just a demonstration.

  • XD box of doom :P

    nice vids :P

  • Good god, everything about this video was ridiculously stupid.

  • So says "Poopy McDoopy." *snicker*

  • LOL

  • Things like this make me so pleased that you and Aunt Pauline don't buy me anything for my birthday or Christmas... :)

I wish you would've put Crystal's entire reaction; It would have been amusing to see her go nuts over something ^_^

  • you didnt really wrap the gift u just wrapped the inside

  • Is the gift the box it goes in, or the actual present? If you think it's the BOX, then yes, I wrapped the inside. If the gift is the actual item being given, then everything enclosing it is part of the "wrapping." Can you "wrap" your head around that?

  • what?

  • give your wife engagement ring like that?

  • Couldn't. We eloped. Went straight from "no ring" to "wedding ring."

But that'd be a bad way to wrap an engagement ring. Don't want to get them all irritated dealing with devious gift-wrapping before you ask them to marry you. :)

  • nice vid.

  • omg if this ever happened to me and i didn't like the present lol theni can't guarantee the giver's safety

  • lol watch the spray thing from 3:23 - 3:38

  • like the shirt. go alex and kevin

  • i wonder is it would have the same effect if i used concrete?

  • You'd have a wet, soggy gift that turns into an extremely heavy, rock-enclosed gift that would most likely require power tools to remove.

I wouldn't do it but, let me know how that works for you.

  • how many bottles did you use?? also i started and used 2 bottles already and i have just gotten a little more than the bottom of the box filled.... can i come back the day after and get the same results? thanks

  • Hmm. I used "Great Stuff" brand spray foam, and only used 1 can for both boxes - but I also used some foam peanuts. You should only need 1-2 cans for most boxes. You may need to make sure it's expanding spray foam. The more it expands, the less you have to use.

  • Christmas is coming up might have to try this on someone

  • "tada, present!..wee! god i almost pissed myself

  • after doing that you should wrap it with like 80 layers of nice wrapping paper

  • Really good but I cant do because

    A) I might get the stuff on my fingers

    B) I cant get the stuff

  • A) Rubber gloves are a very good idea.

    B) Any hardware store sells spray foam.

If you live with your parents (don't know how old you are), either have one involved or do it outside - as I think it'd be impossible to get that gunk out of carpet. Hasn't happened to me yet, thankfully.

  • Now do this with a PS3 =D

    Great idea man !

  • If I bought a PS3, it'd be for ME. :) Why would I mad-wrap my OWN present?

  • 25 mins for the Harry Potter bpx set?... worth it xD

  • i have the same dog ^^

  • Aren't mutts grand? :)

  • shut up u muggle lol jk

  • that would suck indeed.

  • Gonna have to try this.

  • what was te gift at the end?!?

i think it had Harry Potter written on it.

    5*

  • Yep. She's a Harry Potter fanatic, so it was Order of the Phoenix - boxed bonus edition with extra scenes and death eater mask.

  • I think i can tell she's a fanatic... Hmmm

    Where ya from mad man?

  • United States, Ohio to be more specific. Home of, huuuuge tracks of land.

  • you dont sound american XD... im from teh uk and im a mad scientist too.. even tho im young

  • I started doing crazy experiments in middle school, so nothing wrong with starting young. Just make sure to not blow any of yer digits off, since you can buy better things to 'splode if you can still work a job.

(note, I still have all of mine)

  • yes all 3 ... anyway.. lol priv message me id love to chat to you

  • omg, i know that glue stuff, some kids pranked my high school with it. they filled all the locks in our school, so the teachers couldnt unlock the doors. unfortunately, some doors were able to get open so that school would resume as usual, but thats not the point. the point is that this "prank" cost $20k in damages, 245 locks replaced at $50 each, not to mention other expenses. so, use that crap with cation, you may be causing more trouble then you really think

  • Good point.

    Spray foam: 5 dollars

    Cardboard box: 50 cents

    Good gift: X dollars

Creating a prank that has maximum joke/embarrassment impact yet costs the taxpayers nothing? Priceless.

  • i love you have my man babys

  • Love It!!!!

    This was great!!!

  • alrighty... it scares me to no end that there is more than one person that shares my sense of humor. Makes me happy i dont have kids. Love the vids tho

  • How come? Kids = prank targets. At least until they figure out how to prank you back. Then it gets REALLY interesting. My 14 year old stepdaughter has a lot to learn, but she's coming along.

  • I live in a state that considers that enough to remove a child from your custody... Come to think about it that doesn't seem to be a bad idea heh

  • china? saudi arabia? iraq?!!

  • Very cool idea.

  • Hahahaha...I so want to do that now. Sadly, my "unsuspecting victims" have access to pointy objects in the form of #2 pencils, and blunt objects in the form of school books. >.> Darn.

  • you talk VERY fast!

  • Film was too long, so I increased the speed of the entire thing to %125 when I'm talking, and %600 when I'm not.

  • hahahah i love your attitude in your videos! makes me laugh.

and you call those little foamy things foam peanuts??? lol that's so random xD. in england we just call it 'foam', cos we're boring :P

  • That's what I get for making two videos at the same time. Got myself confused. Heh.

  • lol this is brandon btw.

  • Static?

  • Weeee

  • just toss that little doggie

  • COOL VID.

  • Was that Harry Potter?

  • Heh. Yep. She's a Harry Potter fanatic. It was the Director's Cut Special Edition with character cards and death eater's mask.

  • Hahahahahahahaha!

  • I once recieved $50.00 gift. It was 30 one dollar bills, rolled into very small balls, and put inside a box of green colored peanuts. The box was then covered with 3 layers of duct tape. In between each layer of duct tape was a roll of quarters stuck individually to the tape. It took about three hours to undo everything. I'm really glad they hadn't seen this.

  • i'm doing that

i'm going to do that with a pack of smokes

    el cheapo chocolate cigarettes

my imaginary girlfriend will LOVE IT

  • muhahaha man you are just evil!! :) and man i gotten use that next Xmas :D muhahahaha...but ther is 1 thing missing form your video wicht i miss...the FIRE!!! and metal!!

  • LMAO

im so going to do this!!!

how much does spray foam cost???

  • first :)
