For a while, I didn't get this clip at all - why was Ariel doing the interview and having trouble with Korean when I know she can understand and speak Korean?? Then, it hit me; this was before she graduated, so perhaps she wasn't quite at the level to be comfortable with it yet. At the time this was filmed, sdhe was still missing 3-4 semesters of Korean, which can make a huge difference (especially since the later courses were her upper level ones).

well learning classroom any lang other than your own is really never enough to be able to speak and understand that lang. you need to live in a country that speaks that lang to really learn it so you can be understood by native speakers
