  • Chris Costa>Chuck Norris

  • 2:58 "head up" sure bud, you can tell who has seen combat and who has not. Tell my Taliban how you were practicing fundamentals as you see the business end of his AK with no tacticool shit on it.

  • @Morepullups Huh?

  • @Morepullups There's a reason there are far more taliban casualties than that of U.S forces...even the Russian's run optics, lasers and lights on their AK74s

  • Did that guy tap the back up sight when Costa said "tap the mag"? lol

  • Ak's ftw.

  • chris costa=god

  • All of their instructional videos are a waste of money....they are way loo long. All of their videos can fit on only one DVD

  • Has anybody seen any jams in AK platforms that took more than a bolt handle racking to clear? I'd like to see how people handle that. I've just never seen it.

  • @ArmednSafe Well... does the bolt being frozen shut count?

  • @Blackscorpy I guess that counts. Do you have a anything else on that? I've never seen the bolt "freeze shut" before. How did that happen?

  • @ArmednSafe Oh, just spending about a week outdoors where the warm temperatures were in the -10 Celsius range and -30 C was perfectly normal. Only need to get a little water there for some reason (snowy rifle whilst firing for example) and then just leave it outside, or accidentally bring it inside for a short time.

  • @Blackscorpy Did firing a round (if there was one in the chamber) break it free? Or did you have to pound it open with a mallet?

  • @ArmednSafe Depends on the malfunction. Jam goes on toast. A double feed would require an even worse three handed affair since you cannot lock the AK bolt open.

  • @TheDoxy You're right, jam goes on toast. But jam is also another word for a malfunction. There are lots of homonyms in the English language. If you had a double feed in an AK, I think all you would have to do is pull the mag out, hold the bolt carrier back and give it a shake. If that didn't work you could hold the bolt back and the rifle to your shoulder with your right hand and try and clear the rounds out with your left.

  • @ArmednSafe Honestly, if you train on any platform the clearance procedure will look and and be executed smoothly. I will say I am biased to the AR platform because that is my chosen weapon system and I've trained for such eventualities. As for 'Jam' its been drilled into my head that [it] provides no description as to why your weapon is no longer functioning. "It jammed" vs "It had a Type II Malfunction" Jam doesn't address whether you need immediate action or remedial action

  • @TheDoxy I wasn't looking for instruction on clearing a specific type of malfunction. I could have said malfunction but jam is 3 letters.

  • Damn that guy needs some work!!! What the hell was he doing?!

  • @octavioveliz Former Marine, hard to overwrite what the corps teaches.

  • @NorStarReviews I heard that! That's totally understandable then. I had the same problem for a while.

  • @NorStarReviews I think that applies to all teaching. We always seem to revert back to the first things we were taught, or what was previously drilled into our heads. It's probably very tough for a Marine to change what they are doing because what they do is so drilled into their heads and so automatic. But we can always re-condition our brains through the same ways we conditioned them in the first place. Repetition!

  • Chris Costa is beast.

  • my issue wit6h costa is that its not like he has been special forces trained etc so you wonder whether his tecvhniques are used by Delta etc and if not, why teach them to people who need those skills ?

  • Chuck Norris checks under his bed for Chris Costa.

  • im sorry but under actual stress half this shit they teach you is going to be ridiculous. you dont have time to get down and hid behind a wheel like that, yeah its the safest thing, but is it the most practical given the scenario? prob not. also having a live fire like that and screaming in there ear while people are beside you firing as well... im sure there has been plenty of ND's and is unsafe as shit.. there is a reason why the military does it certain ways and this is not one....

  • @bigplayer2382 then how come military trains there? and travis was force recon marine?

  • @offroaddude333 by military training there, you mean people in the military who enroll themselves personally. And why wouldn't you use your backgroud to your advantage, if i was once a famous stock broke, I would write a book and teach classes on how to become a famous stock broker. That doesn't mean its practical. And I'm not saying some of the techniques they use are not useful, but I am saying alot of the techniques are impractical and more likely to hurt someone who is off to the side.

  • @bigplayer2382 dude thats how swat teams are trained to shoot from behind car tires. are you trying to say its more practical to make yourself a bigger target?

  • @offroaddude333 no its more practical to not be a fucking retard. using a car tire as cover yeah thats smart but laying down like that shooting sideways is fucking ridiculous. Please, inform me of what you do for a living because you OBVIOUSLY know so much more on the subject. Because i guess with a vest and gear and stuff it would be so easy to roll onto your side and shoot. No thats stupid as fuck.

    -US army Infantryman.

  • @bigplayer2382 im not in the military but my best friends marine fast company and my brother and cousins are army infantry and they said its the best use of cover and my buddy in fast comp. told me thats how they were trained

  • @offroaddude333 i swear, maybe thats why your not in the military. because your half way fucking retarded.... i even fucking said "using a car tire as cover yeah thats smart but laying down like that shooting sideways is fucking ridiculous" ..... im not sure what you dont fucking understand from that you down syndrome. i cant even bother argueing with someone so ignorant. "oh well i know someone in the military!!" okay next time ask them if they shoot sideways on the ground like that downy

  • @bigplayer2382 where are you stationed? and what unit are you with

  • @offroaddude333 currently deployed. 1-175th infantry

  • @bigplayer2382 well thanks for your service and come home safely but i still think these videos are good instructional videos my buddy that just got out of 101st has it and loves it

  • @offroaddude333 thanks for your support. was he infantry in the 101st? because the things they teach in these classes are unpractical but with actual basic behind it. such as previously stated, the best part of a car to take cover behind, is the wheel... but laying down like that is ridiculous. especially for swat/military because of the gear they have on it would take extremely to long. Also the way they conduct the training is dangerous in my opinion. but thats just opinion.

  • @bigplayer2382 dude you suck, those guys have done that before, have seen and used those tactical in combat and here you're trying to say it's not practical, special ops use it but just because you're the Infantry man you say it's not practical, and you can fine thousands of military people, including former navy seals, former special ops that say it's practical and a life saver, so stop being rude to other people because you look like a fucking retard

  • @2dL oh please choke on a dick you fucking retarded civilian. you dont know shit.

  • @bigplayer2382 look how stupid you sound, "fucking retarded civilian". Just delete your account on youtube because you fucking suck.

  • @2dL just shoot yourself because your obviously wasting everyones time. trying to micromanage a fire fight will never work. i really cant eve be fucked to argue with you tho because your just one of those people that can never be wrong. dont worry you watched tv shows. you know it all.

  • @bigplayer2382 all right i'll do what you say because we can see here that you have the most experience in the field and yes, you're the best soldier in the planet, nobody has ever been close to what you are bro...

  • Dude having problems with malfunction: "Aww man" Chris Costa: "Sigh..."

  • Far cry 2 has weapon malfunctions and jamming and its tachtical game..

  • why dont they include theese movements and techniques in videogame??

  • I seriously need to start buying some of these.

  • Ah shit chriss costa is god @the carbine

  • How much for the Caprice?

  • Gimme a couple rounds overdahudd, overdahudd overdahudd!!!

  • Magpul's new compensator in phenomenal!

  • What is the name brand of jacket Travis & Chris is wearing?

  • Chris Costa is an expert at fire arms and Chris Acosta shoots him self in the leg

  • Comment removed

  • @FilinMurve where did you get marpat on your stocks?

  • Comment removed

  • @igorwhite

Guess what Travis Haley and Chris Costa are running... Think before you post.

  • @igorwhite ahh no one actually has an M16 in this video, so your observation might be accurate!

  • @igorwhite The M16 series of rifles is going suck depending on the environment it's in. If its fired in the Iraq desert with Humvee's kicking up sand than yes it is going to malfunction eventually. Out there in the tropical and decent weather parts of the United States no it won't suck! In the desert of Las Vegas where I live it'll function in the city with no flaws.

  • @igorwhite The M-16 is a fuckload better than that cheapass AK. M-16=Rilfeman's weapon

    AK=Peasant's weapon

  • Comment removed

  • @igorwhiteCorrect me if I'm wrong but aren't you from Eastern Europe? And yer tryin to make stereotypes about my intelligence base on where I'm from? LMAO.

  • @SouthTexasHeadbanger

Oh great another dumb-ass- self proclaimed firearms expert on youtube with an unintelligent sub par analogy. Comparing 2 different weapon systems built for different purpose.

  • @TaskForceRangerX What you like to see homos naked?

  • @SouthTexasHeadbanger no, home is where you make it....

  • @Maximussy666 I think he said he likes to see homos naked ;]

  • @MadtactiX LMAO

  • LOLing at the intensity....Overdahood but with more intensity.

  • Took their Carbine 1 course a long time ago and it was a phenominal course. I would love to take Carbine 2 but the cost of ammo has slowed that possibility down for the time being. Hoping to take their dynamic handgun in the future. Top notch instructors and top notch shooters.

  • These dudes are straight legend.

  • Man americans are preparing for an invasion

  • @kingewan We are all going to attempt to invade Russia and be the THIRD country to fuck it up.

  • @TheMohawkNinja Napolean,Japan,German...twice....oh wait what about Chimera War?

  • @williamED15 I've only heard of Napoleon and Hitler... lol

  • Boom BOOM boom boom Boom

  • that impala had a strate body lol

  • Man these fellas are the real deal. I only wish their classes were available more often.

  • costa is fuckin intense! haha.

  • @ 1:48 the guy is like AW MAN! I just installed that tacticool flash-hider you're rubbin on that rusty car!

  • 2:34 Watch his movements when holstering the sidearm. It's perfectly scripted muscle memory, quick, smooth movements.

  • "BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!" - Chris Costa

  • MAN,THOSE AR'S ARE GARBAGE...lol

  • Anyone else notice how the guy who had the jam didn't even chamber a round before executing the tap-rack-bang?

  • @ChrisHun7er That's called stress, fatigue, and maybe a touch of embarrassment that his weapon had a failure. Then again, I think he was the SF guy, and he might be used to shooting an open bolt platform. Either way, it's a good learning point. Better to learn from others' mistakes than your own. Costa squared him away proper.

  • @silvermediastudio Yeah, those factors seemed to be extremely detrimental if he didn't remember the bolt was forward and if he forgot to immediately perform tap-rack-bang instead of hitting the charging handle. Hopefully this won't happen to him or anyone else in a life-or-death situation.

  • Aimpoint® Micro T-1

    aimpoint.com/products/all-products/product-singleview/product/micro_t-1

  • @FilinMurve

Colt, or whatever, what's the difference:) It's like in America Most of the townsfolk call all Kalashnikovs AK-47. Relax and enjoy the shooting.

  • what optic is that in the last scene

  • @Diemorder aipoint micro, larue mount.

  • WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME COSTA AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • dude, Costa kicks ass!

  • Solid Training.

  • very effective techniques indeed

  • GOTDAMN! Chris is a beast.

  • I just got a boner......hot

  • @mysticookiebear PLEASE tell me you're a female.

  • Why is the instructor using his trigger hand to operate the charging handle in that position. Wouldn't it make more sense to use his foregrip hand so he can have his finger on the trigger? I think the best way to handle that would be to check the chamber for malfunction, dump the mag, pull out a fresh mag, rack the charging handle with the mag in hand and insert the new mag without even getting up at all.

  • @arandomperson3 Nope, gotta lock the bolt to the rear.

  • @globalforce Well for that I would just have a Magpul BAD lever attached so I can do everything with one hand.

  • @arandomperson3 Yes, that would be an ideal setup. But I think as an instructional video, it's important to show how to do things in different settings. Personally I think that's the reason why Chris doesn't use the BAD lever on his training guns.

  • @globalforce Well to me it would just make sense to condition with a BAD lever since that's what I would use. Unless they're training them for the rare even that they might need to use their buddy's carbine or something.

  • @arandomperson3 Well, Travis has BAD lever set up, so they show you how to do things both ways.

  • @arandomperson3 Did you talk about prone position? I really can't imagine how can he follow your suggestion in prone position. He should keep his finger on the trigger and use the foregrip hand to fix all problems?

Please understand my comment didn't want to insult your opinion. I'd like to exchange the idea.

  • For an experienced shooter, that individual had a pretty hard time clearing that double feed. 1. Identify the type of stoppage 2. Lock the bolt to the rear 3. remove the source of ammunition. 3. Rack bolt to the rear three times. 4. insert new source of ammunition. 5 rack, sight in and attempt to fire. Total time to clear stoppage : no more than 15 seconds.

  • i need this training because of the line of work im going into

  • if you are going to lay on the ground like that why not just go prone?

  • @Kozmito Because it takes more time to get into a standing position when your belly is on the ground. The way the lie helps them shift their center of gravity so that they can get up without using their arms.

  • @BattleRatProductions

If I wanted to "shoot far", I'g go with my .308. A quality AK with a good compensator and a red dot with a decent MOA is a good bet, as most 'long-gun ' fire-fights happen within 300 meters.

  • WASR-10's are not good.

They are built with used & worn out components, assembled onto receivers that have not been properly heat treated for durability, and the receiver rivets are also not properly heat treated.

The barrels are made of low grade steel and are not chrome plated to protect against the corrosive effects of the ammo that is commonly available for the AK.

WASR-10's will not hold up in a long term abusive environment

If you need a cheap rifle, get a good used SKS...

    IMO

  • @rllang01

...Or a Saiga AK, for that matter.

  • @BrokenTengu99 Saiga Ak's are good, but not cheap.

Someone on a tight budget should avoid the WASR-10. their are better alternatives.

  • @rllang01

Got mine for $370 walking -out-the-door. Atalantic Firearms dot com. Good stuff .

  • @BrokenTengu99 OHHHHHH yes, the sporting AK with hunting stock.

Those accept the 30 round mags ?

yes yes, thats an excellent price for an excellent carbine !

  • @rllang01

Yes, it can. But it has to be 922(r)- compliant with a set number of U.S. -made parts to legaly use hi-cap mags. Also, you may have to modify the mag, or the rifle to accept Commie-Bloc mags. Very easy to do, and also very nominal in price.

My Saiga 7.62 X 39 is fully converted and VERY compliant.

  • gay

  • i like this whole zombie preporation thing going on

  • @BattleRatProductions u need aftermarket parts to make an ak47 be capable of hitting the blind side of a barn so yea

  • @bobwatters type in ak-47 at 230 yards in the search bar.(by hickock45) I run an ar-15 but understand that the ak-47 is a tremendous combat rifle that is plenty accurate for combat shooting. 3 to 4 m.o.a.

  • @blaaaaaaah27 i honestly dont wanna type it in b/c i know if hes hitting anything that far its not just a plain ass ak

  • @bobwatters actually its a low grade wasr-10. shooting offhand. i dont think you know much about the ak first hand.

  • @blaaaaaaah27 ok i had to look at the video it didnt realy change anything ur right i dont know what names are quality when it comes to the ak what i do know is when they were first developed they couldnt be used over 75 yards and shooting at targets probably actualy combat no so yea i dont know what a fuckin wasr 10 but im sure its of better quality than the original ak was with modern tech they can be made to be somewhat accurate

  • @bobwatters a wasr-10 is a shit ak. like an olympic ar-15. there is a reason the ak is responsible for more deaths than any other firearm amd its not just quanity. dont get me wrong i prefer my M4 but i respect the other side.

  • @blaaaaaaah27 i respect the other side to the fact that its durrable but its deffinatly quantity that has made it responsible for so many deaths

  • @bobwatters i can tell you are biased so there is no point in getting in a retarded internet argument with you. to each his own.

  • the best use of a chevy i have ever seen lol

  • lol @2:30 "Bum Bum Bum Bum!" xDD

  • @BattleRatProductions then you can build on yourself. You can put high end stuff in there and design it on your own. :D For stock ar 556 bushmaster i would pay $750 or less than that

  • @BattleRatProductions Oh bushmaster is like average range. You can still up grade the trigger internal and high end BCG. Sorry dude.

  • @BattleRatProductions ohh wow that brand are you using ? suck for you buddy lol..

  • @BattleRatProductions don't tell me you are some little kid who heard a bit of knowledge and posting dumb comments on here.. For long distance i would take ar or m4 or m16 into the combat..

  • Costa is so intense... I love it.

  • BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!

  • Overdahudd, overdahudd, overdahudd, gimme couple rounds overdahudd

  • Good stuff.

  • @lordmonfort AK suck at 300 yard and above on a small taget.

  • @lordmonfort why bu ak when you can simply install feedramps, D-fenders, and better mags?

  • @lordmonfort buy a platform with a piston design and ditch the 5.56.

  • love how they yell at you and create that hi stress

  • Gotta love the AK variant rifles, they hardly ever double feed and when they do (never) they are so much easer to clear because of the hinged magazine release, that thing just prys out, you dont get that spring pressure jam like you do in a well fed design.

  • lol my stress level was going up from watching this, was intense

  • magpul is awesome

  • @st4ngeI2 Magpul did not invent tactical carbine classes. Haley was teaching with SDI for years before Magpul integrated SDI.

  • @jebustheone who the hell said anything about magpul inventing tactical carbine classes?

  • that instructor is one squared away motherfucker tho.

  • 0:36 lol tapping the mag is always the first thing i do. saves so much time. look at these slow fucks haha.

  • @ILuv2troll

He had a double-feed. Tapping the mag, or a tap-rack-bang, won't do anything to correct a double-feel malfunction. Locking the bolt to the rear takes tension off the magazine so that you can more easily rip it free. You then cycle the action a few times to make sure all the fucked up round are clear, insert a mag, charge it, and you're back in action. Christ was walking him through the proper procedure.

  • @opmike343

CHRIS, not CHRIST, haha. Don't know how I messed that one up.

  • now...thats some nice stress fire for ya haha

  • what the hell does SBU stand for anyway?

  • @Hyperpulsehammer If memory serves, the weapon goes on its side with the stock over your shoulder. That puts your eye close to the sights which is a disadvantage with irons but not an issue with Aimpoints.

  • @hector1841 No, I mean like, the acronym. S.B.U.

  • small boat unit...navy came up with that form of prone.

  • Dam i would like to go training with them.

  • @shanepify that would be an intense session but probably fun but man i would get iritated quick

  • pretty cooll

  • round stuck in chamber??

  • these are easy tactical training. but i love em. can't get enough of it. the more you train the better you will get.
