i figured this on my own, when i just started the game and had no chance of killing him 1 vs 1. you can also throw fire bombs at him, it kills him really easy, specially if you throw them after hit thrust attack

what is he guarding anyway? i cant open that door

IIRC, you can find key to that door in somewhere of stage 1-4 or end of 1-3. It's been while since I played DS so I cannot remember 100% correctly.

I beat him with just a normal broadsword. It took ALOT of tactic, and alot of time. If you circle around him while in guard mode, then wait for him to lung attack, he leaves his side open.

He's easy to kill, get the Crescent Falchion+1 which does magic damage(he's weak to magic damage) from world 4-1. Block and attack when he stumbles back and then block again. You can also get two hit in when he tries to heal. Just make sure you step back when he raises his shield to break your defense.

I like using a spear instead.

I did NOT like using a spear on three of these guys at once, however. 1-3 sucks.

but also another way is to have soul arrow or firethrow, and eqiup the theifs ring and buy the spell hide, cast hide, then u can keep casting magic at him and it kills him pretty fast, if he blocks it, just cast it more and he will lose his block

Kuulemani mukaan tämä olisi vähän niinkuin Oblivionin, Diablon ja Monster Hunterin sekoitus. IMO ei vedä vertoja SotCille mutta silti ihan kiva peli ollut toistaiseksi. Vaikeustaso pelissä on erittäin korkea. :P
