@ytany84: whether the Bible explicitly forbids interracial marriage or not never prevented people from using Biblical verses to support their views. But the larger point touched on is that regardless of what the Bible states is moral, that shouldn't be the determining factor of whether or not a law is in place. If someone believes homosexuality is a sin, then they can make a personal choice about gay marriage, but that belief shouldn't affect people of other creeds.

To say the Bible is responsible for non interracial marriage is completely wrong, it never touches that subject. The subject it does strictly touch is homosexuality and is viewed as wrong.
