I learned that baby toys are a much cheaper alternative to parrot toys from pet stores. They are safe, as they are made for babies! You can go to walmart and buy a 100 pack of wooden baby building blocks for $12-13, but if you go to a pet store you'll spend almost twice as much on 1 toy for a large bird who will destroy it within 1-2 days time.

We live with U2s, a Goffin's and a SC2 and they ALL love baby/toddler toys that we thrift. Especially the ones that play music. Loved watching your Sassy Paco!
@1boidae No, I go to thrift stores and look for little toys like this for the birds. They love them and it seems to stimulate there minds. I find them fairly cheap at places like that or even yard sales.
You know he is really a smart one. There really isn't to much he can't figure out. Every food or water bowl I put in his cage he has been able to find a way to dump them... The ones I have in there now have lasted the longest. Maybe he has moved on to destroy something else.
