Alright, I checked out Davis' page, and evidently he's gotten pretty damn good pretty quickly. I was making an assumption based on the fact that each newer album they put out sounds more produced and more flawless. I liked The Armored March most because it was real, it was raw. in my opinion Aaron is a better and more unique drummer and live he lets loose and drums like crazy. i think he records stuff he knows he can play live while singing. then when it comes to live he is like oh i can do so much more because i have seen his drumming get more techincal with every record. that is only my opinion.

@Drumskyle thats good and all but in my opinion aarons beats are unique and a lot of drummers are not unique anymore. Aaron does a lot of brave things like playing on off beats when most drummers would not do this

I think Mancino is better because he has best double, but matt greiner from august burns red is good at double and sick at blackbeats and really good with rolling etc

Double bass is not everything Aaron can pull off better things in my opnion he is better at blending his drumming with all the other instruments. i guess i am not really a fan of as i lay dying. did you know matt greiner said that aaron gillespie is one of his inspirations as a drummer.

even if it was triggered u still have to play it, a trigger is like a little receiver that tells a drum tracking program when a drum has been hit, they're used to get different drum sounds without using different drums. not saying that it was triggered but i just want everyone to have an understanding of that actually is. on another note, this band is fucking amazing
