  • Rename this program "The Lame Guess About Killer Dinosaurs"

  • theres no way that a baby ankylosaur would out run a velociraptor :P

  • T IT WOULD SIMPLY CROUCH DOWN AND SAY GOOD LUCK AS THE RAPTORS STOOD THERE SCRATCHING THE HARD HIDE AND WONDER AND THEN THEY WOULD LEAVE AND THE ANKYLOSAUR WOULD WALK OFF ANKYLOSAURS RULE FOR LIFE

  • OMG NOT TRUE THAT IS THE MOST PATHETIC BATTLE EVER ALSO THAT IS NOT WHAT A ANKYLOSAUR LOOKED LIKE THIS ONE WAS SOFT AND THE BONES ARE ALOT CLOSSER AND ALOT MORE TOGETHER AND NO WAY WOULD A LVELOSIRAPTER COULD WIN IN 500402384932091832798347932YEARS A ANKYLOSAUR WAS NOT THAT STUPID AND NOT IN 4987348975847391628734609328714632187YEARS WOULD A ANKYLOSAUR ACT LIKE THA

  • the Ankylosaurus was still a very tough dinosaur to kill. even if it had a soft underside, just imagine being that Velociraptor running alongside it trying to find a soft spot when WHACKO! a huge baseball bat with a tumor comes out of nowhere and knocks your block off, holy cow that was made an efficient killer right there mind you.

  • Aw look at them run :D

  • i think velociraptors were much bigger than a turkey

  • dinosaurs never got extinct...they just evolved..

the fossils are the ones who were dead b4 major climate change occured...perhaps an astroid landing on earth??

    its my opinion

  • Interesting fellow, this chap. I would like to see more of this. Jolly good show.

  • COOL

  • that wasn't a fair fight!!

#1 That was a baby ankylosaurus

    #2 There were 2 velociraptors

  • @adriansky08 In nature, there's no place for justice and second chances. You fail, you die.

  • Velociraptor reminds me of an assassin

  • if an adult ankylosaurus is dumb then a baby ankylosaurus got to be the retarded version of it

  • Is the predator's name Tarosaurus or Tabosuarus?

  • @CaptainCharismarules It's actually Tarbosaurus

  • @Zada2011 Thanks bro

  • what triceratops attacked them

  • 2:39 FORE!!!!! XD

  • This video is from 2005 ... i presume that what we know about these dinos have changed a little beat ... the thing unchanged is that dinosaurs made me dream when i was a kid ... and are still making me dream now :)

  • the tarbosaurus looks like the t-rex in the last episode t-rex vs triceratops

  • I've come to expect that from Hollywood. Anything to please the eye, fact or fiction. But, the raptor portrayed in the movie triggers the utahraptor to mind 7-8 feet Many same features. But even b4 the movie velociraptor was more widespread W/ most people not knowing or seeing a flor ference.

  • @cdemanelis The raptor from Jurassic Park more closely resembles Deinonychus ("Terrible Claw" in Greek), which was of a similar height (only a little shorter) and would also have been feathered, but at the time was mistakenly thought by Michael Crichton, the author of the book, to have been a species of Velociraptor. It's unlikely raptors were quite as intelligent as depicted in the movies, but then again, the movie raptors were genetically engineered.

  • @frostyguy1989 I could see that. I saw something the other day about a sp. called Troodon ("wounding tooth" in greek) Since seeing that I think the movie raptors look like troodon. An adult would have stood head to head with man. your typical raptor wouldn't. Also in Troodons favor eyesight was much better than raptors. The eyes are configured towards the front of the head unlike most dinosaurs. Probably most interesting is the brain. Suspected planning and reasoning IDK kinda neat.

  • any more episodes from this series? other than trex vs triceratops?

  • @corbweb4 no, only 2 episodes.

  • 2:13 -2:44 If you think THAT'S funny, think how funny a velociraptor would have looked if it had feathers!:) XD

  • @Serena2009ification Not funny, practical.

  • @FighterGuDude3214

    Nope, funny!

  • Megaraptor

  • @Runnerrmejor Yeah, sucked that he turned out to be a spinosaurid

  • i'd like to see Stegosaurus vs Allosaurus on this, Walking with dinosaurs i felt...did'nt get to so much facts, i think.

  • i like the hosts way of talking he has a nice sense of humor, something more hosts need for documents like this

  • This show's great! Better even than some of the modern dinosaur shows, you know?

  • dude it says ankylosaurus not ankylosaur. someone messed up.

  • @Polkijuyh9470 No it doesn't. Throughout the ENTIRE episode, it says "Ankylosaur". The exact genus is never once specified.

  • ANKYLOSAURUS WAS NOT AN ASAIN DINOSAUR!!!! IT WAS NORTH AMERICAN!!!! "truth" MY ARSE! TARBOSAURUS NOR VELOCIRAPTOR WOULD NEVE HAVE HUNTED ANKYLOSAURS BECAUSE THEY LIVED ON DIFFERENT CONTINENTS!!!

    there, rant over.

  • @DiamondMedia100 and before anyone says that all the continents were joined, they werent. by the mid-late cretaceous, they had split up.

  • @DiamondMedia100 I know ankylosaurus didn't live with velociraptor or tarbosaurus. i know that. i think they meant something like Tarchia or Pinacosaurus (ankylosaurs w/ thick armor tail clubs that would have lived in Asia at that time with the latter). maybe it's just that the way they say ankylosaur sounds like they're saying ankylosaurus instead. i should know too cause i do it a lot. you know what im saying?

  • @DiamondMedia100 They never SAID it was AnkylosaurUS. Did you even WATCH the video? Did you only read the title? It says, quite clearly, AN-KY-LO-SAUR!!

Do research before ranting. There were THREE types of Ankylosaur in Asia. Stop assuming that Ankylosaurs stop at Ankylosaurus. ><

  • @DiamondMedia100

So, you've never heard of Pinacosaurus? Tarchia? Even Saichania? They all live in Asia....and yes, they're ALL Ankylosaurs. That's already three, and there's bound to be more.

Do your flipping RESEARCH next time.

  • 2:55

    Turkey got owned!

  • Baby ankylosaurus

  • I think through out the whole show only mistake the program seem to have made was having the baby anyklosaur do a small gallop and think that was impossible even for a baby since would have to wiegh at least 100 pounds at that age.

  • They should have used a stuffed turkey with head and feathers still attached

  • Hmm ... baby-stabbing turkeys; not quite so impressive as Spielberg made them out to be.

  • @Bazompora Any well equiped predator goes for easy meals whenever it can, it saves them effort, injury and energy.

Depicting Velociraptor as a fearless superpredator attacking the neck of a T-Rex was a mistake to begin with.

  • @Bazompora Dude everyone knows by now that deinonychus were just called velociraptors because it would have sound better/easier to pronounce.

  • I still think that setting velociraptors on young ankylosaurs isn't quite fair or reasonable.

  • @Junketh71: Tell that to the zebra colt.

  • @puncheex I was talking about the match-up between the dinosaurs, not about the morality aspect.

  • @Junketh71: And my point is that "fair and reasonable" hardly enters into what nature does. For a predictor, it's just another meal. Fair and reasonable is that a pair of Ankylosauruses generate enough young to both feed the predators and allow for a pair to grow to adulthood on the average.

  • thank you for this video. and perfet timing! i just watch last part and now im seeing this.
