@Miker.... 7018 is a DC+ preferred rod however, they do make a special "7018AC" rod for those that operate an "AC only" machine, like a Lincoln "Buzz Box.". Home Depot sells Lincoln 7018AC rod if you're looking for it. Don't know what Wes used.
Itll hold, it happens sometimes. Weaving over a first pass can really help if you get undercut on a first pass or whatever issues... Awesome video man, and that trailer is way stronger than it was before. Side rails add a heck of a lot of bracing...
