I actually hate this game. I beat it, sure, but I still hate it. My main quarrel about it is that the machine gun ONLY SHOOTS NORTH. It makes no sense and serves only to ruin you. As for the final boss, it's just completely unfair until you find a hiding place. Then once you do, it's not like the fight is fun then.
I didn't actually find the hiding place, as I tried the left side first to no avail, and assumed the turret can't be destroyed by itself. It took three lives, but I didn't continue.
This was the first game that I ever rented. It was a snow day off from school and my dad thought it looked good. My favorite game by far for Nintendo! Had to use Game Genie to see this ending as I could never beat the tank either...

to beat the tank at the end of the game you have to move all the way to the right of the screen because there u can't get hit...i love this game
