Iam fourteen and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. After MANY severe manic episodes which resulted in impulsive, addictive, violent, and hyper sexual behaviors. I did things I would never have done under any circumstances and have spiraled down into what seems like an eternal world of depression which i am still in today. This video is amazing becauseit helped me see that i am not the only one suffering thru this rollarcoaster ride. Thank u so much :):
God bless you for that song. I was just recently diagnosed with BiPolar disorder. Thank you for sharing your feelings in such beautiufl singing and music.
@JordynJansa It' funny you said that because broadway music is practically all I used to listen to when I was little. It must have rubbed off on me! :)
I love this. Ive seen my mom going through her bipolar issues and then i was diagnosed about 6 months ago. Its really hard to deal with and a lot of people don't understand it. This song makes me feel really good knowing I'm not the only one going through this. thankyou. :)
I have a friend who's bipolar and I have shown signs of it (but it hasn't been confirmed). I love this song though. You have a good voice for someone who claims to not be a musician. The piano is good. Did you play it yourself?
hey! I dont know what you name is but my name is james. I am a college senior and was diagnosed last year. I have been songwriting for 4 years, and I have to say you a fantastic writer. I could never put the confusion, struggle, and awe that can come with what i have had to deal with. Songwriting has helped me to develop an identity even amogst the dead personalities I am meeting as a business major :(. Thank so much for posting this
Sitting here early morning going threw all the mixed and scrammbled thoughts of the day before.. I find myself listening to a song you wrote..I gues the bipolar side of me will always search for the reason why it is i always feel this way....42 years old now and still searching...Thanks for sharing
@AndThenThereWasAmy But you're always wondering...How much was me? How much was an imbalance in my brain? Would I have acted like that if I was normal? There's not even any way of knowing who you are once you realize your mind is against you...
Yeah thats true. I guess I wasn't thinking about that when I posted the comment. Even if you have the thoughts where you aren't sure of who you really are I just still say be how you are now. Forget who you were because you wont be the same.
hi!!! I find this song really beautiful...I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder too...well...it's been a little bit hard for me but I'm ok now. thank u I gess :)

You know, you would be amazing at writing music for broadway. :) For some reason, you remind me of the girl off of Wicked. :)

Yeah, me too. I don't exactly know who I am yet. Counseling helps a lot though.

@DevaSavant
Just be yourself. Be who you have always been. No need to pick a side. Just be you.
