  • this same recording is going under 2 different groups, I always thought it was the Owls in 1955,now I saw it on youtube as the gales aka marvells marvels senators from 1958,wtf is going on? lol can anyone help?

  • I thought this group was the Owls who recorded this in 1955 on the Kent label the a side is "if I could forget"

  • I never saw a 45 of this as by The Owls. This was released on the Mel-O label as by The Gales. That doesn't mean it was never released as by The Owls.. Sometimes records would be issued under different names.

    I would not be surprised if this group was The Senators. The Gales did a very rare record on the tiny Washington DC label Winn.. Right around the same time period a record was issued on Winn by The Senators.
