Just recently got back from there on a flight to Athens, and i must say i wasn't very impressed. Sure its spacious and modern but not very efficient. In order to go to gate B35 it took like a half an hour to get there. By train, and then a couple of escalators and then turns here and there. If an airport is meant to tire you out then what good is it, if it takes you forever to get to your gate. All it is is just steel and glass it is cold and has no heart. Typical modern look.

T5 since the shambolic opening has greatly improved and now is running a whole lot better and people now talk about in in a more positive light. I have worked there and feel it is far better than the other terminals and even though terminals 1, 3 and 4 have been given a much needed facelift recently, T5 stands out. But looking at the Heathrow East project it will probably be on par with T5. It is sad to see the Queens building and T2 go but Heathrow East will drag this airport bang up to date.

It was amazing impressive of new Terminal 5, it look very nice. I dont understand why many peoples on red shirt saying "Stop Airport Expansion" so what, GO HOME, why u here for? Why peoples hate it. I love it to expansion to help reduce congestion on existing Terminal 1 to 4. Not imporant to stop expanison. It not up to peoples decsion. It up to developer master planner decision to develop for better reilef to have more accessible to help meet whatever they need to have better future.

The terminal 5 look good, very nice fill with spacious room for airlines.. I love it...

It not important to "Stop the Airport Expansion" it not important of why peoples hate it.. It good to reduce congestion, delay.. Way to GOO T5 it pretty nice designs..

T5 is brill....i work at Terminal 5 and the facilities are excellent..i don't understand y most people hating it

I havn't yet been in Terminal 5, but it looks amazing.

I mean OK, it had a bit of a qwerky start with that baggage problem, but these things happen. it's not exactly something that's likely to happen every week = P

Would love to simply look around T5 one day. Since i've only ever been through T3 traveling to and from Oslo Gardermoen.

But I agree. I too don't understand why people hate it.

I don't understand the fuss over a 3rd Runway. I think that's a good idea if given time to develop

Result: Meltdown, chaos and catastrophe. What a shocker. Really, no-one can really be surprised that this happened at Heathrow and to BA. Is there any worse combination in avaition?

Willie Walsh you should resign in shame. If this doesn't bring BA down then it will surely damage their reputation so much that the Government will likely have to bail them out somewhere along the lines...since the reputation of the architect, London and the UK as a whole has been damaged.

People have been fed up with Heathrow for the last 10 years. BA promised everyone that T5 would solve all "the issues" thus elevating people's expectations of the new T5 terminal for years in advance of it's opening date. Against advice they elected to change over half of their scheduled flights in a single day rather than go for a phased in solution.

There has been some very hard working individuals who do not deserve the recent bad publicity. As soon as there is other news this will be all forgotten and you will get the praise you deserve. However, not everyone can afford a Hackney Taxi parked on the rank. Why no minicab listings within the terminal
