  • Begging for comment votes, that's very pathetic. The only thing strange is that people feed these beggars with these votes. You already know that this movies reminds people of Forrest, so explain why you cherish these comment votes.

  • Just finished reading the book! Dam that BOOK Making me feel emotions :@@@ I still can't decide whether or not he was better of in the beginning or end :/ But i think its nice that he did get to experience being smart Although it can be argued that Charlie himself didn't experience it another Charlie did

  • i fell srry for this dude ino its not real its just messed up

  • I just finished reading flowers for algernon it an awesome story but in the end its very sad.I think the book gives more deteils than the movie but i wanted to watch the movie I found the beginning funny playing with the kids at the park =)

  • the book is better. i read it in school and its sad :(

  • @mandie800 amen i read the book and i was watching ghost in the shell and they mentioned flowers for algernon and i had to pick the book up again.

  • I read the short story in class and enjoyed the story very much. I love how it is written and cannot wait until I get to the library tomorrow to get the book.

  • I read the short story in Literature class recently. I was very moved by it and wanted to see the movie and/or read the novel. Time to hit the library!

  • is this the 1968 or 2000 movie?

  • The book has a very personal effect for me. Living with someone who had a disability made me wonder what if my own brother had the operation. It was a very well written book and I'm hoping the movie is good as well

  • rip cliff

  • god bless charly, someone who doesn't have that capability that we possess... its so sad to think of it but you feel so blessed that you have those qualities. to the people who make fun of people like them... just understand what they are going through. How hard it is for them to simply... imagine

  • DERP DERP I NED OPERASHUN DURRR I NEED BEZ SMARTERZ

  • @austynleigh123 no serousley i just wona know if you are in my school

  • i thought charlie was going to be way different. In this movie he seems totally normal except his writing. not the best actor for charlie....

  • I just read the book, and I loved it.

  • The book is very amazing and sad.

  • this movie is terrible, amazing book though

  • If you're here for a book report your going to fail. The movie is completely different from the book anyways. Don't be lazy and just read the read the book, it's ten times better than the actual movie.

  • Why did they try to make Charlie sexy? He shouldn't be so tan, so neatly dressed and well made up. He lives alone and gets help from no one...I can't see why they would depict him in such a way..

Also, the actor playing Charlie could have done a better job imitating someone w/ mental retardation

  • kul

  • I was super interested in the book! i hope the movie can do the same for mE

  • this movie is BULLSHIT i read the book

  • aw yeah im playing charlie in my shcool play <3

  • great book.:D

  • thee books iss awsomee♥:)

  • Charlie sounds exactly like he did in the adio-tape.

  • RIP CLIFF

  • I'm not going to talk shit about how you're an idiot or whatever if you haven't read the book. All I am going to say is that the book is fucking beautiful and you should take the time to read it. Its not that long I read it in one sitting. I've read it a few times after that as well.

  • It's funny how people watch this thinking they're getting the same experience they would get if they read the book. The two are very different, they have the same ideas, but they are executed differently, also the movie is a bit more mature and creepier than the book, probably due to the score.

Anyways thanks for uploading this, i really wanted to watch this again.

  • Thank you so so so so much :) I read the book, but this is MUCH better :) I appreciate it

  • I had to read this book for an assignment and i loved it highly recommend it

  • i dnt read books :p watching this so i dont fail

  • well i happen to read the book and guess what i am not a lazy american so XP i just wanted to see if there was an actual movie for it

  • read this at class sometime this week. it was the shorter version of the novel though

  • this is my all time favorite book OwO

  • I read a shortened version of Flowers For Algernon, I still cried >.>

  • I hope this is as good as the version tht was made in 2000! thx 4 upload!

  • You're an idiot for using generalization. I read the entire novel. Besides, why are you here anyway?

  • @iluvairplanes1 Fuck you racist bitch.

  • @iluvairplanes1 You know what FUCK YOU, we all read the book, How do u think we found this page? I wanted to see the movie just to give me more felling

  • @iluvairplanes1 I read the book?

  • @iluvairplanes1 bitch

  • @iluvairplanes1

    k frenchy

  • @iluvairplanes1 Rascist piece of SHIT.

  • @iluvairplanes1 hahahaha(: i read it :o but yeah alot of americans are lazy BUT not all(: but i can see where you're coming from though :P

  • We had to pick a book to read for summer vacation in high school and I had picked this book because no one else wanted it, and I was so glad I did, became one of my favorite books and no matter how many times I read it its always amazing, though I didn't know they had a movie out on it, thanks for the upload! ^_^

  • thank you for accepting my video request. this is one of my favorite movies. anyone know where to get the soundtrack for this? the music is amazing.

  • Comment removed

  • @DJLubey Oh my god, you NEED to read the book. Go to your local library, or borrow it from a friend if they have it. It is so amazing. I just looked up the movie because I love the book, and had no idea there was a play either. Congrats on doing a great job, now find the book champ :)

  • @CakeBeneathTheIcing

Great book, I liked both the movies too

  • Wow, nearly everyone here came because of that. It's annoying how people do whatever they can to get these thumbs. They should just shove those thumbs up themselves.

  • @Lebuzz1 SOMEONE GET THE HALLELUJAH CHOIR, thank you. I loved the short story form, and I really want to find the actual book. It's so touching and I almost cried at school at the ending. :( Poor Charlie; he deserves happiness.

    . . .

Did I mention I'm 12? Yeah. For those high schoolers out there thinking that this is stupid, or any other grader - I'm not even gonna go there. =.=

  • @Lebuzz1 I read the book, then came here if it makes you feel better, This is a very sad story =(

  • @Lebuzz1 We read this in school and i absolutely love it. I forgot my book at school and i have to act out three scenes with my friends, record it, put it on youtube and have the whole class watch it! I will Send you the video! ( we had nearly 30 options of stuff to do as a project for it. I chose this one!)

  • @Lebuzz1 i felt like watching this but im also reading the book im going to stop at the part that im on in the book

  • @FusionZedGamer i'll tell you right now you're gonna fail the assignment if you watch this instead of reading the book

  • @FusionZedGamer I teach English Language Learners in Arizona and we read the short novel in our text books. Being able to show my students non-linguistic representations of text is key to helping them understand. Not everyone who views this video is lazy. You should try more to not over-generalize or make assumptions.

  • This is one of my favorite books of all time. So far the movie has been pretty accurate, but I wish he would capture Charlie's desperate desire to learn a little better. That was what made him so likable. Maybe it will change? Anyways, kudos to Keyes for a really great story.

  • could someone tell me were i could download this movie i really want to see it :(

i would really aprecciate if u could help me

  • I like that "retarded" is the first tag.

  • This story is so sad, i cried at the end.

  • people said that clarly had sex with ms. kinian in the movie. is that true?

  • Those people at the bakery are so mean to charlie. :'( poor guy. Oh well. If I had to choose between knowing people are teasing me and living in my own little happy world and be clueless, I'd rather be clueless.

  • i had to watch this in class

  • Finish reading the novel. (book's expansion) Hope this movie is as good. :)

  • I was suppose to read the Book. (but I was too busy skipping school!)

  • The book makes more sense then the movie.. so READ THE BOOK FIST GUYS.

  • this makes me cry

  • @laxfan41 I read the book about a month ago and I'm in the 9th grade o.o

  • I imagined charly with blonde hair. Not at all like in the movie.

  • I don't think Charlie should be enjoying himself like the video shows in the first part.

  • this is one of my favorite books but the movie isnt wat i thought it would be. the book tells more details and is morfe interesting, but al in all i love this story is one of the best books ever

  • love the book, i finished it today, Its become one of my favorite books of alll time! I chose it out of not having any other book to read, but i love it so much! :D

  • We read this in 6th grade, lol. We had begged our teacher, though. It sorta was too mature for us, especially when the topic of sex was covered. We all cracked up when Charly woke up with his sheets "wet". Sigh. Good times :) Then I reread it in 8th grade

  • I saw this at school today after the story....
