I have a 2s 7.4v 5300mah lipo with a 33t pinion in my bandit. I used an old cell phone with gps and it I hit 54mph top speed. It will do wheelies on command for as long as you want.... (one day when I shell out the cash) It will be insane on a 3s lipo!!

i have a traxxas bandit vxl and when i accelerate the car it wobbles so much that it will wreck instantly at speeds as low as 20 miles per hour. If i accelerate slowly it does not do this even at 60 miles per hour. i am pretty sure it is not wheel-wobble but the transmission (or the maybe esc) causing the wheels to individually alter dramatically in speed. can anyone help?

This is how the Traxxas VXL-3 Brushless system is, you get a a Traxxas XL-10 and a 10 turn motor with a 3s Lipo battery you can make it go 70+. Its really a prefrence thing. This is my plan, get all the parts to make a full metal brushless Bandit, and make it go 70-90 mph. Get a venom racing Temp/MPH gauge and put it all together for like $400-$500. That way its aint not P.O.S Traxxas product but more of a custom buggy just with a Bandit body.

You Should adjust your steering trim so that it does not go to one side like it did. I had that same problem once.

I have just ordered a 9.6v 8 cells NiMh battery pack....It is supposed to give a 55+mph top speed.... I will let you know after I have tested it....

Anyway,even with the 8.4v 7 cells batteries that I have been using so far the Bandit is impressively fast and faster than most nitro cars I meet in the nearby track...

I am a bit sceptical about lipo batteries as (I suppose you will agree) the faster it goes,the more likely to damage something is.....

well r u talking about brushless or not brussless the bandit brushless will go 70 mph not brushless it will go 35 mph the stampede brushless will go 65 mph not brushless it will go 35 mph if u want them to go 70 and 65 mph use the lipo batteries
