  • Anyone know if he still doing any tests? Went to the forums and it didn't show any new updates for some time.

  • It's .54 inches thick and weighs 3.5 pounds, eh? I could probably handle it.

  • for under 100$ what would be the best knife you could recommend? cutting/weight/tang/durability?

  • Entertaining to watch but obviously none of these tests apply to "real world" applications.

  • i called up the guy who made this knife and he said this knife was specifically made for this testing. awesome.

  • Who in the *#$# would carry that thing around????

  • @7410ray Bria Shaw

  • that knife is just too thick. it's almost as thick as an axe. i'm really happy to see how the edge held up, but that thing is completely ridiculous

  • holy shit........ big ass knife

  • thick knife if iv'e ever seen one

  • That knife is basically one big block of steel. I would never use it because three machettes combined would be less weight.

  • Isn't this one of your videos on someone else's channel?

    watch?v=7fqpUMVHLDo

There are at least two of yours there and I get the feeling that all the videos on that channel belong to other people. Already found a couple of youtuber YHCKelly's videos there, too.

  • This knife is ridiculous. Way too unecessarily heavy.

  • could you please answer me these three questions if you have the time :

1.How thick is this knife (mm)

    2.How much does it cost

3.What is the most durable knife you have ever tested?

  • @Slic3R1 1/2" thick, at least $500 plus, Besides this one the Busse FFBM is the most durable tested.

  • @noss4 Thank you so much for replying bro

    i subscribed

  • I love these videos. Out of curiosity, what sorts of knives do you like to carry?

  • THAT SHOULD BE RENAMED;

    THE NOSS PROOF KNIFE..

bad ass as usual bro...nice review

    Seeya

    Dude

  • that thing is a sharpened up truck leaf spring.

  • Thanks Noss great test.

  • Looks like a decent pocket knife

  • Is that a fuckin splitting wedge with a handle?

  • @JustinBaker2567 ,something like that yeah.I guess hikers wont take that thing with them :-P

  • @1442899 Really?? That thing is way to big to be lugging around with ya out in the woods and it wouldn't be practical for 99% of the tasks one would be using it for. It's just a big prob way to expensive show piece.

  • @TheMrc281 ,too heavy ,not practical. An axe is the choice for the woods

  • What the heck would anyone use this knife for? it's a pointless hunk of steel!!

  • @TheMrc281 survival is a good one i would say a big knife that wont break is a super plus

  • Hey Noss I heard you were gonna do a d-test for some type of katana. Is that still happening? if so what kind is it going to be?

  • 1/2+ inches thick? You'd be better off and more practical buying a axe. I'd venture to guess that it'd work much better than anything this beast of a knife would be capable of.

  • Damn......tough ass Beast of a knife....lol ...Noss I suggest you "consider" adding one more Final Level of D-Test to the "Survivors"....an acetylene torch ....lol

  • Would love to see this model in 1/2 or 1/3 the size, doing the test.

Simple, strong, and well crafted.... top notch product.

  • @TheTwistedKIM Agreed. If not 1/2 to 1/3 the overall size, then AT LEAST reduce the thickness.

  • damn... even the handle is tough!

  • @jithappens Handle material is TeroTuf...not micarta/g10.

  • trailmaster eat your heart out!

  • Nice One !

  • Whats the price on that knife

  • Should have went ahead and cut through the Vice to!

  • Well, i'm not surprised with this thickness... I would prefer that you test a real knife as a Fehrmann Extreme Judgement, instead of this "crowbar".

  • Hahaha There was no way you were going to break that even if it was 420hc. Half an inch blade stock? Crazy. Great so see you back Noss.

  • perfect knife for killing zombies lol thumbs up if you agree

  • @blackssnow, if the zombies are steal plated.......otherwise,imo, a lighter blade would be easier to swing, or the same weight, but twice the length. none the less, this would rule at knifey spoony.....i want one!

  • Why dont you just keep it now? and its good to see youre back.

  • where I can buy this knife I look it up Dan Keffeller I couldnt see or find any website of his.

  • @ikonik69

he is a personal knife craftsmen which make every blade personal on order, go on bladeforums or knifetest forum were he has a account and write him a PM directly if you real want one

  • That is an amazing Knife, I love these videos thanks a lot for doing this!

  • Great EDC knife!!!

    Just kidding...

    Nice job Noss!

  • not standing and bouncing on them anymore? I always thought that was a good one. That thing is thick I would be surprised if it broke on ya. It seems as if the maker made it specifically to withstand your testing protocol. Thanks for posting.

  • @enscribe Yes I still stand on them. 13:00 minute mark video part 3

  • Comment removed

  • Noss Is BacK!!!!! heck yeah LOL! welcome back Bro.

  • That's one tough SOB.

  • if you can do anything to break that, ill be super impressed. maybe a torch?

  • nice

  • Not surprised by the results. 3v steel is something else. How this is that blade? Looks like it's a half inch thick in the back! Anyway great vid as always, keep em coming.

  • Wow that pretty thick metal
