  • Jason hoffman 75 people really?

  • Reminds me of that clown name jason hoffman

  • apparently this video is permanently muted

  • Ben is so fit would have him any day x

  • This attitude is exactly why the financial crisis happened. Assholes conning people into buying crap that's doomed to fail. And is this the message we're sending, do all it takes to get rich and fuck the world?

You want to what I say to guys like that? Fuck off and die, you're the problem.

  • 13 people can't learn how to close.

  • This isn't trying to be glen garry glen ross, why not just appreciate it, its a good and fun sales film that will build a good emotion to any sales consultant....

  • NOW BE RELENTLESS!!!

  • THIS IS TOTAL BULLSHIT! watch Glengarry Glen Ross with Real fucking acting

pacino, lemon baldwin - arguably the greatest acting trio EVER! fuck affleck hes got NO BALLS!

  • @MrCamparisafari you know they watch and qoute glengarry ross in this film? The main guys in the company like ben affleck and vin diesel all grew up watching it. Their characters that is

  • Lulz, this is lame compared to Alec Baldwin's version.

  • If you don't learn how to close, then your going to have to start thinking about another career!

  • Man, I LOVE this clip! Who's gonna close on your next sales call?

  • It only cinema!

  • Not terrible, but Alec Baldwin's is much better.

  • I've increase my SALES SKILLS based on this VERY movie!

  • This is one of the most inspirational scenes I've watched in the history of movies pertaining to sales. I've closed many sales after watching this scene. Truly motivational.

  • @MontereySands Has it also motivated you to become a heartless, non-caring, parasitical, low-moral scumbag like those guys in the movie?

.................... ho wait, no need to answer that!

Judging by the state of the economy seems like millions of others were probably "inspired" too, well nevermind.

  • ABC baby. Always be CLOSING!

  • If you don't close it the first time I'm the guy who is going in for the Rehash that's when take them down on the rehash

  • One of my favorite movies of all time. All the sales students in the business building at my university loved this movie. We would watch it before big presentations. Great Job Ben

  • A guy called me trying to sell me season tickets today...I said I have to talk to my wife...he said "I always have to call my wife too". I'll email you the info....I'm not even married, he should have tried harder. I guess he never saw this movie.

  • This film is a mish mash of Wall Street and Glen Garry Glen Ross.

  • OK, but this film is weaker than Wall Street. And Ben Affleck does his mighty best but he's no Gecko.

  • Alec Baldwin did this better. I'd be more likely to buy something if Alec Baldwin pitched it to me rather than Ben Affleck.

  • @vipersquad I agree. Alec Baldwin was far more threatening and commanded the entire space. Ben Affleck seems like a motivational speaker as opposed to a ball buster.

I was re-watching scenes from this and Glengarry Glen Ross as I just started a sales job. You may hate sales but you can't deny, it makes the world go round.

  • "And there is no such thing as a no sale call. A sale is made on every call you make. Either you sell the client or he sells you a reason he cant. Either way a sale is made, the only question is who is gonna close? You or him?

    thats it, Im done.

  • Sales....I did it and I'm not good at it lol. You have to have it to sucess in it.

  • ABC(ALWAYS BE CLOSING) im in sales too over 56 dollors avarding out in bonus sales haha

  • That's it, I'm done (walks away)

  • Big fan of ben and his brother. Some of the filming he has done has also been radio good.

  • Welch's Gotham City looms ominously over. Play this film free @ MovieWatcher[.]US

  • Best acting he has EVER done. Good scene.

  • I cant stand these people who say being pushy, confident, persistant and clever is bad sales technique. Im all these thing and GOD DAMN I LOVE SALES!!!!!!!

  • @richardob1 You're the sort I hang up on.

  • Tarantulisimo - I find it quite sad that you have both a degree and a job, with such atrocious grammar and spelling. Chances are, you're 16 years old and make C's in High School. Stop talking.

  • i slept with angelina jolie

  • I used 2 B a broker/financial advisor. 2 me, Affleck nails it. This is more like my experiences than GGR, but both movies rock. Wall Street 2.

  • out of curiousity, how did you get that job? I'm a bit older at 28 but have a degree and would love to get into this field.

  • Bascially just being persistent & relentless & being in the right place at the right time....And networking. Getting in is 1 thing, staying in/surviving is the next challenge. I have a degree & have worked 4 a str8 brokerage firm, 4 a major bank, & as a financial advisor...I now work at a casino & I love it!!!! Networking with people in the biz is prolly the best route 2 getting in

  • He's no Blake

  • i did inside sales for the yellow pages in las vegas in the fall of 2001 and it was the first time they were really losing A LOT of business because of the internet and i swear we had some meetings JUST like this when the sales managers realized the bottom was dropping out and their days of instant bonuses were over.

  • i'm sorry, but this is terrible acting

  • i think afleck didn't really nail this one.

u should see alec baldwin in glengarry glen ross..

    now that's a sale pitch

  • so true

you either sell them or they sell you on a reason to not buy.

  • true lol!

  • An ethical salesman knows when someone is just stalling and when they have legitmate reasons for not buying something.

The days of pushy sales are coming to an end....consumers are smart and want service and honesty - give them that and everything else falls into place.

  • not disrespecting, or picking a fight, but if that is the way to operate then you are not a salesperson, you are a Clerk. Best Buy, Circuit City, WaWa, you are a clerk at a register, not a salesperson

  • I'm not a salesperson anyway...I'm a qualified chartered financial advisor. At best I would be a "consultative salesperson" in the same sense that a doctor kind of sells you drugs and treatments when you go to him because you're sick. If that's a clerk...great :o)

  • Way to compare a menial finance job to being a doctor. Yeah, same difference LOL!

  • I agree with VIKTIM you honestly must not make any money if that is your sales motto!! I make between 1,200-2000 aweek in sales and my sales motto is "PERSISTANCE BEATS RESISTANCE" try it and see your sales rise!

  • I make that sort of money too (assume you're talking USD and not another currency)...and I am not pushy.

But then again, I am a qualified professional not a salesman so my work is a little different - the only selling I do is gentle nudging once a client has made up their mind what solution will be best from them...

My reputation is built on not being pushy and I get tons of referrals because of it and probably work half the hours you do.

  • @Optimusnorm quote "once a client has made up their mind what SOLUTION is best for them' lol, do you work for PayPal by any chance? And I'm talking GBP not USD - 1.5461 as I write this.

  • weak sauce.....

  • We watch this scene at work when we're struggling (Im a telemarketing fundraiser for my university)

  • my sister works in sales and I have told her that she should watch this movie but she has never time to watch it.

  • This movie is about the J Moran scam that happened back in the late 80s. They are not ripping off Glen Garry Glenn Ross. It's a sales movies, there are more out there, this one just happens to be about the stock rip offs performed by J Moran.

  • It's about Stratton Oakmont you nut

  • ahhh, Affleck is so good in this movie!

  • I used to go through this bullshit every Monday morning. You're all assholes, you suck, you couldnt sell an umbrella in a rain storm. It's not for everbody thats for sure.

  • There's no way anyone can honestly say that this isn't a complete and total fucking rip-off of Glengarry Glen Ross.

  • It's a post-Glengarry film, not a ripoff. They also view Wall Street but aren't copying it; these are the films ABOUT their business, and they exist within this story.

  • Boiler Room is classic in it's own right. It's not a rip off of Glengarry...nothing can compare to that.

  • its special in its own way... Homes and stocks different... both good.. ABC Bitches! 20 years in tha game.. wreckin fools...

  • wow could this be anymore of a rip off of glengarry glenross

  • spot on

  • only difference is its not real estate, and there are no made up leads by Mitch and Murray.

  • Thats it I'm done is classic!

  • I wanna bang his buttchin

  • Ben Affleck playing the role of a rich arrogant asshole. That must be very easy for him because he is well... a rich arrogant asshole

  • Is he also a terrible actor in real life?

  • lol, ben affleck is terrible but i like him

  • i hate shit afflec

  • "he nailed this one"??

    -------------------

*yawn* This is the "happy meal" version of Alec Baldwin's 'GlenGarry GlenRoss' speech.

Lol @ Bennifer Affleck. All the F-bombs in the world wont give an overgrown teen's angst the allusion of a seasoned salesman.

  • where is bill hicks when you need em?

  • This role should have gone to my man... Jeremy Piven aka Ari Gold! Hands down! Does anyone agree????????????

  • Probably bad acting, but great script writing. I love the act as if.

  • This guy is NOT a good actor. Anybody can act pissed off and yell - and people think they're shitting gold. Ah well.

  • not sold! affleck is the epitome of most actors today. I never liked him after Good Will.

  • he was better in this than the interview, i thought

  • if you want a sales job and can close sales call us at culture current 859-781-5323. no losers please.

  • "What are they gonna say? Fuck you? I don't wanna see those returns?"

No. They'll say "This is starting to sound like a ponzi scheme".

  • "That's it, I'm done!"

    And it's 'whinging'. Cheers!

  • I thought I was back at work for a moment. At JP Morgan, I mean JT Marlin.

  • This should have been an Al Pacino speech :)

  • Affleck is a moron.

  • and a terrible actor

  • He sucks in some roles, but he nailed this one.

  • CHill out boys. Be good to each other!!!!

    Haha

    Peace!!!!!!

  • Fuck Affleck! I agree that the speech itself is good and spot-on, but Affleck is too much of a little punk-ass bitch to execute that.

  • Thanks to this video, I just bought 200 shares.

  • Ben Affleck is weak. he's not a tough guy at all. If he was my boss I'd laugh at him too.

The speech itself wasn't bad, it just needed another person speaking it.

"that's it, I'm done!" pfft. he sounds like a pansy.

  • "listen you fucking guys!"

  • And you wining her doesn't sound any better!!!

Do a research on his life before he became a world famous actor and you will have to take your words back.

    Great speach yeah.

    inspiring as hell!!!!

    Peace man

  • i'm not talking about his life before acting, he may very well have had a tough life. I'm talking about his acting in this particular scene. If i was working for this guy i would just laugh, it's not convincing at all. Watch Alec Baldwin in "glengarry glenross" or Michael douglas in "wall street" that's some real convincing acting. I'd be selling like mad if those guys told me to sell. Ben just makes me laugh. Perhaps his acting is suited for other kind of roles, not a bad-ass sales manager.

  • Ok my friend. I take your point.

I'm just so fed up with people wining!!!

But that was not the case in your " case" as you explained.

I will check out those movies you recomended, cause those are really good actors!!! It is importent to be inspired!

    Thanks man!!!

    Peace!!!

  • btw, it's "whining"

  • Lol funny when he goes "dont fukin laugh it's not funny." and when he goes "That's it im done!" lol

  • This shit is so real. I've lived this. He should do a motivational video! Great performance Ben!

  • Thats it! I'm going into sales! GRRRRRRRRR!

    Do you think I should?

  • He's no Alec Baldwin or Michael Douglas.

  • Glengarry Glen Ross is much better.

  • If you've ever been in sales and ever had to cold call, you'd know that Affleck is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT between 1:54 and the end!

  • yup!!

    this scene is amazing.

and it's really educating, because if there's no close, then there's no point in the sale.

  • bad acting.

  • bad comment.

  • lol how are these bad sales tactics.... sales is all about closing, being aggressive. Being pushy and aggressive are not the same thing

  • For all of you people who worked at Lowe's as store greeters before being reduced to collecting carriages, listen to what Affleck says from 1:26-1:32!

  • this is so bad it makes my ears bleed.

  • classic!!!

  • "That's it I'm done", probably the most quotable line and hand gesture in the movie. After perhaps Vin Diesel quoting Michael Douglas's line from Wall Street "Lunch is for wimps," which doesn't really count.

Speaking of, have people seen The Boiler Room Chain (search for it)? Its basically four dudes watching and quoting the scene in Boiler Room where they watch and quote Wall Street. Its pretty fucking stellar.

  • "That's it, I'm done" is the most quotable line...? Did you watch the video?

  • Sorry for the late reply.

To clarify, I'm not saying that this quote contains the most wisdom. And, I'll concede that is probably not the most frequently quoted line, especially in sales environments.

All I am saying is that you try it out once when concluding a 'serious' point, particularly in the presence of friends familiar with the scene. Make sure to include the hand gesture, as it's critical to capturing the Affleck acting moment. You might find that it feels pretty good.

    payce.

  • apologies, computer was logged into wrong account. I was completing the jokejokerton stream below. Glad Big Ben's not around to chew me out over that mistake.

  • So im like 17 now, and my first day as a telephone salesman was yesterday.. Only assholes answered to be honest. Anyone got any tips for me, post them on my tubeaccount.. I'm off to work again in 15min. Bye.

  • You're going to fail miserably at sales if you justify not having anyone interested in your pitch by making them out to be "only assholes."

They think you're the asshole for calling them.

Pick up some books by Gittomer to learn the best advice on sales.

  • I was a commission-only salesman for a while, and we got speeches like this every day. But there's no guarantee anywhere. No high-pressure salesman ever pulled one on me.

  • can someone post the whole movie

  • I love this movie. The Best Sales movie ever.

  • It's a good movie...but not the best sales movie ever (Glengary Glen Ross MFer)

  • This clip has been the katalyst for maybe all of my sales! It has been very helpfull.

  • you are a chump haffe, now pick your ass up out of that fine italian leather chair, and get the fuck outta here

  • You gotta cannoli you can stick in your moth? "jokah187"

  • Mouth! I ment to say Mouth!

    ..I am a chump, arent I.

  • Ben Afleck's screen time in Boiler Room is probably 5 minutes or less, but this is his best role. ABC and CJA (Cracker Jack Acting}!

  • holy shit i love this movie!!!!!

  • pancake head ben, i feel sorry for sales people as they are brainwashed to talk shit

  • Fuck off, what do you know about sales? We help people who can't make up their minds make decisions that positively influence thier life.

What you refer to is what is commonly known as a shark who deceives his prospects and negatively influences thier lives.

There is a stark difference and best you learn that before you start making comments like that son.

  • i definitely agree! Anyone who doesnt know shit about what it is to be in sales should keep their fucking mouths shut - Not talkin about selling petty ass phone plans or insurance, i mean real investments. So well said 'fuck off'

  • disagree. each investment having different risk profile isn't appropriate for all clients, regardless of how "hot" it may seem... In any case, it's distasteful to be interested in commission and to offer that investment to someone because there is clear conflict of interest between a client and a broker..

  • whatever helps you sleep at night

  • This is also a chop shop, nothing close to a legitimate firm.

  • I completely agree with gaumer. If you have ever sold anything this speech gets you fired up. "There is no such thing as a sales call, a sale is made on every call you make"

  • Afflecks character presents a better idea of how to sell and more useful types of ways to close...Baldwin just swears and breaks the guys down...everyone knows ABC but he doesn't give the old balls a clue about how to do it.

if you've ever made a sales call you know afflecks speech is way more applicable than baldwins

  • Baldwin's speech isn't supposed to be about calling only, it's about closing in general. He wasn't talking to some 18 year old kids, he was talking to a guy as old as probably 70 years old. They needed to be motivated by attitude, not phone calling techniques.

  • one of my favorite movies ever

  • this is a good scene. Check out the Alec Baldwin scene from Glengary Ross. Its better

  • You are not sending out press packets any more.

  • Ben Qweeflick

  • It ain't Alec Baldwin performing David Mamet. Not even close.

  • Alec Baldwin in Glengarry seems like a joke. Who talks like that nowadays? Maybe my grandparents still like him but not me.

    Ben Afleck is the shit!

  • all you guys are a bunch of weak sucks. This movie rocks you people are all 9 to 5ers thats why this movie means nothing to you

  • yeah I know a guy that can't close shit

  • worst movie ever

  • ben qweeflick

  • oh you so funny!!!!!!!

  • yeah i know

  • Yeah, Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross makes this look like a pile of puke.

  • thats because he is a pile of puke

  • brings back old memories...

  • I dont think theres a need to say it but.. Alec Baldwin's ABC scene shits on this.

  • yeah man Alec Baldwin so much better at acting.

  • his voice is monotone. no range.

  • My god, he is really a bad actor.

  • This is actually an awesome scene! Every person that works in sales... especially telemarketing really needs to see this film. You can learn so much from it!

  • Uh....no.....you can't use these tactics when actually making sales calls...this is just a movie!!! and a BAD one at that!!! lol

  • moron

  • you could not be more wrong and this is why I am more successful than you. wall street.....get at me

  • You're a 21 year old shit-talker who lives with Mommy and Daddy and so that makes you "more successful". Good luck with that one, skippy. Fuck off and die better yet.

  • That is true, having finished college, i am back at home. but also i am working for fbn securities....wall street. Calm down you bum. Clip your coupons with your fat spouse. HAHAHAHA. Dont call me skippy either... in your case, call me sams choice peanut butter. skippy is out of you league

  • clever for a nobody.

  • this is by far the best scene in the movie much better than the group interview
