It's really cool that there are so many effects that you can put on the signature picture. Also, the grunge background is awesome. I like how the multiply choice works, it gives an a technique which looks pretty interesting.
I was feeling discouraged when I was trying to add effects to my text & it didn't look that good, but as soon as you add this grunge layer in, bam!!!, it changes evrything, the whole texture, perspective, evrything, it looks so intricate and complicated but all we did was add a simple layer. Well using effects on images/text are great, but knowing how to make them stand out using other layers or techniques is essential and very useful in making ur image one step closer to brilliance :)
It's so cool how if you use "multiply" for the grunge background, it naturally blends with everything on the layer. I also liked the splash from the brush tool.
From this video, I learnt that the filter effects can really enhance my images. Moreover, the grunge pattern, by putting it as 'negative', really balances the colors out. Also, using the brush tool in order to give more patterns and effects to the background is an amazing idea!
I especially enjoyed the filter effect that I used on my image. The texture, the colors, and brush effects all go together well, and the album design looks nice :)
I really liked the changing background part, although the tutorial skipped around it. I was able to find a way to change the background. There's a lot of creativity that I could input.
This is a very professional looking CD cover that you made here from scratch. I wish I could do it without watching the video, but I'm pretty satisfied of my work.
I really liked messing around and seeing different effects working. I really think this will help my CD look a lot better. I also think I'm going to use this in the future.
Even though we won't use it for our CD project, I really like how it came out. Photoshop made two different textures blend in really well and the water splash brush tool made the album cover stand out even more.
This tutorial really helped me be creative on an open template and create a CD cover-like effect! The faded background pattern image created a good, vintage, and professional looking effect. I liked how the text can be edited and stretched out to making an interesting shape with the intersecting lines. The combination of words, graphics, and photos really gave me inspiration and got me thinking about my actual CD cover.
I learned how to make a CD cover creative and generally better. I like how you can make make what you want stand out more and how the background doesn't always have to dominate the scene.
This tutorial was by far the most entertaining because it involved using the grunge effect through the photos, which in the end, became an album cover.
I like how my project turned out because of watching this video. I think that learning how to use the tools in these ways will help me to make a better CD cover. Textures can change the whole picture.
Textures is the best way to make the BG stand out more, and it was nice to know that there are a lot of textures out there already. Also. using effects on the signature picture to make it fit/look cooler was also very nice to know.
I was laughing pretty much the whole time since my planned design was probably the opposite of the "grunge" theme so it totally didn't fit at all.
This video helped me learn how to put some different textures on the background and make your CD look neat and cool. I also liked the stroke tool which outlined the lines we drew to make the text look thicker and more neater.
This video was very helpful for me because I learned how to add the patches using wet media brushes. I also learned that I can change the way my picture looks by using the eraser tool. By this tool and adjusting opacity it made the picture glow a little bit. i think these various tools are very helpful for making the album cover.
Making the lines fit took me a while, but it was really fun and the grunge texture overlay made the whole atmosphere of the image change! I think this is a really creative i dea to make a cd cover.
