@bugglesman I felt the same way about My Morning Jacket. I saw them at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philly back in '03. They didn't even have roadies...set up their own equipment after opening band (Burning Brides). We we able to stand in the front row w/ ease. Now they are so popular Jim James was featured on an episode of "American Dad".

Good for them, but they lost me as a fan. It might also have to do w/ the fact that I don't enjoy their latest cd's like I do the 1st 3.

It's a bit of everything. The bluegrass and folk I was raised on and love dearly, along with the newer urban indie and rock. It's incredible.

I was very lucky to have discovered them on my own back in Kentucky. :D I already love Seattle! I don't mind the rain too much.
