  • hey i dont know if you've ever experienced this before, but i haven't gotten my period for 5 months because i exercise so much. Has this ever happened to you before? I know that cutting back on exercise is probably an option, but i really dont want to do that because i enjoy it so much and i'm not going to gain weight just to get my period back. If you know anything about this please get back to me, thanks!!!!

  • @riotgrrrrl1288 I would definitely suggest going to see a doctor. Sorry but you're going to mess up your body and perhaps not be able to have kids when you're older if you continue

  • I have a question: at what speed and incline do you run on treadmill and for how long? thanks :)

  • @kaflilly I like to do a 2.0 incline, alternating between a 5.5 mph and 7-8 mph. I can't go the same speed or I'll die of boredom! I typically do it between 20-40 minutes. Hard intervals last 30-1 minute long. Easier ones 1-2 minutes long.

    before run; dynamic stretching

    after run; static stretching

    lauren fleshman has good videos on running drills sarah also used to do track so she could prob do a video on a,b,cs and full dynamic warmup or just search these

  • @Erdbeerbowle haha no it's BOSTON! :) It's a red sox shirt hehe. I LOVE intervals and that is what I do most of the time. Stretching I've read can be harmful if you don't first warm up. Studies have shown mixed results. Sometimes I stretch, sometimes I don't. When I'm tired, I stretch. When I'm sore, I stretch before and after!

  • @jmahii I get them all the time when I need NEW shoes. I don't keep track of the mileage, so when my shins start to bother me, I go buy a new pair and keep the old ones for knocking around. Also, try to avoid pavement and treadmills. Run on dirt, grass, tracks that are made out of rubber, sand. Anything soft. Stretch your shins too and ice them after you run.

    Hey Sarah, Do you know any ab routines that help that pudge around the belly button ??

    My lower and upper abs are flat, but the middle ones keep sticking out making me look like i just ate a huge meal! it's NOT attractive! help me!
