What kinda tires are installed? BMW like many high-end European cars, equips their cars with more performance oriented tires - whether this be summer or all-season tires. Very few all-seasons do a reasonable job in adverse winter conditions. Equip. with 4 snows and you'll be amazed.

@hysteria247 Don't you mean your summer tyres with 4 mill tread are shite in the snow? Have some fun fit some winters on make sure they have the mountain symbol with a snowflake in it, well worth the £200 which you will get back through getting to work on time or at all....
