@steve: yes, all youtube standard videos are in mono, so of the newer ones have options for stereo.

Mono = 1 channel of sound.

Stereo = panning left to right of sounds to degrees of 0-127 (0 being full left, 127 being full right, 63 centre, as 128/2 = 64, and 0 counts as a digit).
