if Africans really "join" the so called classical music community, they will have composers who write their own operas, symphonies and piano pieces (or khora or what have you)
furthermore they will process the rich folcloric and african traditionell music with modern classical composition techniques, just as European composers as Albeniz or Grieg did with traditional European music.
Classical music (including baroque, romantic period and so on) is not european, it is just a special approach.
