I don't get the polarity thing... In tetrahedral, the forces don't really cancel because they are different directions so it must be polar...
Am I just overthinking this? Should I be looking at the 2d diagram to determine polarity?

You we're born to be a teacher, you have a way of explaning things that ACTUALLY make sense, two different chem teachers tried to teach us this... and it made no sense
