I saw some live shows and Guillaume is singing way better live, the sound is entirelly more "clean", the new cd brought them to a new level, it isnt meshuggah alike anymore, so i take it as a fan, with joy. The band is mature in so many ways that i believe, and i always have, Mnemic IS one of the best bands out there. Passenger wasn't a shitty album at all, i take it like a "transition" album, 95% of bands has one album like this, and i feel glad that SOTS proved this transition very well.

im curious as to why Deathstars are being compared to Mnemic when they are 2 completely different bands and styles. new Deathstars sucks mega ass and the new Mnemic is finally becoming something good. the new album is a major improvement on Passenger but still not as good as MSP or Audio Injected. hopefully the next album will get them there

@axesalaries Obeast is obviously going bald so he buzzed it off; Mircea probably cut his for professional reasons, as in his life away from music. MNEMIC is obviously no longer a full-time band like they were during the first 2, 3 albums when they tried really hard to make it, take it to the next level, and make a living playing music. It's a shame success has eluded them because they're by far one of the best metal bands around and the best thing ever on NB along with Meshuggah and Soilwork.
