Oh...and for those of you who think this is not on god mode just look at how much damage the family takes when they get hit. I have it on hard mode and they don't get nearly that much health taken away when they are hit by one of the clones.

This did help alot, remember to hold O rather then tapping people. The moment you get your Rage of the Gods again after already using it, you've practically done it. Using both Max Magics as the video has shown help you tremendously.

I think you're screwed. I remember having to restart from an older save when I realized I didn't have a full bar of magic. Maybe let them hack at the family a bit more and get more magic from them? Either that or restart from a previous save.

2nd part of the last level. there are 3 parts. The first part is you fight ares when u are big. the second part ares opens a portal and the vid u saw is 2nd part. at the end of 2nd part, you lose your blades and 3rd part u get this sword (the bridge u walked on before a while ago......) and u fight ares (kratos is still big) but its like u hit him once ur health goes up and he hits you it goes down...so yea last part is hard..but i beat it! :)

You have to old O to keep comforting them, not just press it. Also, if clones hit ya, it stops, so before you start, unload the Hades souls that will give you enough time to fill em up.

Also, square/hold square or square/square/hold square is king for those few stranglers near the end if you run out of mana(ie. timed it wrong)

Yes, every time you hug your family your rage of the gods meter fills. What he did was hug them several times in a row and a filled it up very quickly.

I keep trying this but my Rage of the Gods meter doesn't fill up as fast as it does in the video . . . And I'm starting this fight with a full magic bar, unlike the video. (I'm following the video mode for move, even the clone-grabbing parts, but that's not helping.)

Hate to double post but a few things you have to note on this fight are that you MUST start with full mana or you will run short in the very last phases of the fight. Letting the family get lower health is also key, followed immediately by an AoH. Funneling health also gives you rage, which you'll want to get a second full RotG by the end of the fight ((Which is actually much easier than it seems.)) takes a bit of practice but it really DOES work best. You MUST start with full mana though.

For all the idiots who say that this strategy doesnt work: IT DOES.

Start with Maximum energy, health, Rage of the Gods, Blades of Chaos, Army of Hades, Posidon's Rage.

When your family has low health: RotG, AoH, PR x 4, AoH, hug family to max, when your family has low health, AoH, hug family yo max, RotG, AoH, PR x 7.

I'm one to admit when I'm wrong, and boy was I wrong with my previous response. The ROTG meter DOES fill if you hold down the circle button while you are hugging your family. You simultaneously fill your ROTG meter and restore your family's strength, but ONLY when their strength is low, thus being the reason why you must allow your family to be hit in the beginning. My apologies for that last response, this DOES work in God Mode. Awesome discovery and great tip!

Okay, let's get one thing straight: THIS DEMO IS NOT IN GOD MODE. I just tried the exact same technique in God Mode, and your ROTG meter does NOT refill itself that quickly. This is either "easy" or "normal" mode. However, the one good tip I did get was that the clones die from one slam, which I hadn't known before. It's still going to take me 6 months to beat these damn clones. F you Ares.
