I agree, I am not exactly convinced that Erica knew or knows the meaning behind that symbol.However, I think that she is still responsible because the Lord tells us that we must be knowledgeable about what is around us. I think the Mary Mary brand is more caught up in looking hip and relevant to a ruthless,corruptible world than they do about pleasing God.I have seen so many photos of them bearing a lot of their cleavage, wearing tight fitted clothing and even coming across seductive.

Did it ever occur to you that it might actually be a peace sign? There's a difference between a peace sign and Nero's cross. The peace sign forms a sephamorphic N and D, which stand for Nuclear Disarmament. It was adopted into society during the 60s as a peace sign. Not as a cross of Nero. It would be different if you were being honest, but you come to various Mary Mary videos and start making things up to prove how "carnal" they are. Please get rid of your 'holier-than-thou' attitude.

It's not a peace sign. I did the research. Do a search on the "cross of nero" or "Nero's Cross." It's an accult symbol plain and simple. It's possible that they did not know that, but perhaps they would have if they were not so caught up on trying to look, be and sound like the world (not just in their singing, but in their interviews).

I'm aware of what Nero's cross is. It's an upside down cross with the arms extending down instead of from each side. But the peace symbol was designed in 1958. The difference is that the peace symbol is inscribed in a circle and has nothing to do with any form of heresy. The arms of Nero's cross extend all the way down to the bottom of the figure. In a peace symbol the bottom of the figure is lower, as the sides extend to the circle.
