This project sounds like another CGI-fest with weak characters, bad acting, terrible dialogue and trite storylines.
The only "quality" thing to come out of the Star Wars franchise is the original trilogy.

@PabloJalan I'll never understand why you people keep thinking he does it for money. He bears a lot of traits that he isn't money obsessed. He let two different guys direct the other two original Star Wars films, as well as not crediting himself as writer for those other two, despite the fact that he did help write them (Revealed on Internet Movie Script Database.com), possibly to give other people credit, or the fact that he dresses like a worker all the time.

Doesn't he realize his legion of tech-savy fans would make this for free? Seriously though, what kind of show would this be to cost over $50 mil per episode? Whatever the case, I really hope it takes place in the classic trilogy era. ROTS was pretty good, but none of the prequels or his Clone Wars series holds a gimer stick to the classic three.

His daughter has been the creator of a few of the Clone Wars ep. and they were some of the best. Listen to RepublicForcesRadioNetwork podcast on Itunes and their website, they review the ep. and other Star Wars things a do a great job at it.

By quality he's referring to special effects.....it's too bad special effects have very little to do with the "quality" of film.....what a waste of money, and an unnecessary reason to keep laying on these delays.
$50 million an episode...Jesus, it's fucking star wars...it's going to be successful no matter what. All you need is good acting, a good script, Skywalker Sound and rotoscoping for the lightsabers. You don't even need an allstar cast.
