  • I Love You Lebanon

  • they let u i

    nside the cockpit???

  • One day I hope to become a pilot. When I get my A-levels in Maths and Physics, can I do a degree in aerospace engineering or whatever, and then train with an airline? How did you do it? (if you don't mind me asking)

  • What does the voice computer say just before touch-down?

  • The sound that you hear, is integrated within the board avionics of the aircraft. It remind the pilot using the voice commend the aircraft level before the final landing approach , that why you hear (300 than 200 than 100, etc.)

  • he says "ratard" meaning to retard throttles to idle just before touch down

  • @18vallancel It says "retard" which means pull back the throttles and pull up the nose. People often joke that the aircraft is calling the pilot a retard. After that you hear "10" then "5" which is the distance between the tires and the runway. These numbers are known as a "callout" and it used to be carried out by the co-pilot.

  • @18vallancel PS: The callouts are in feet, not meters.

  • Are you the pilot of this beast?

  • What plane is that?

  • A321, Operated and owned by Middle East Airlines (MEA) based in Beirut Lebanon
