  • So you just spam attack untill opponet dies, run some, spam attack untill opponent dies, run some...

  • ...

    Is this....

    out in English yet?

I am thinking of getting it...

  • I've been playing this game, and I noticed the "Item get!" jingle is EXTREMELY similar to the one in the Metroid games.

  • this game really defines button smashing.

  • is the remake of Ys 3 on the psp worth it as well?

  • thank god i have this game now

  • arrrggghh my right ear

  • dragon's nest :P

  • best game i played on PSP so far!

  • Is this fun? It looks kind of button-mashy

  • @TheOpinionatedPerson if you like games like Zelda or Secret of Mana, Im sure you'll probably like this game :D

  • i have a problem on this game .. the character face or icon on the lower right is now visible .. i mean i cant see who character i chose .. unless i separate in from the group .. do you know why? pls help .. my psp is 6.20 tn-d with aloader .. im using ys seven in ISO format ..

  • @ThePaperBradley hey, you know where i can find the hidden path using the moonsong bell?

  • @x3Shinju to the way on kylos and segram . tha caves.

  • I love this game. I just finished it and all I can say is NOW WHAT? no replay value. Combat system is outstanding, crafting, boss battles are superb and suicidal. Dungeons are very nicely drawn, enemy sprite not repetetive but story is kinda blunt. Still I recommend this game

  • game looks like crap

  • @deviltetsuo555 looks better when you actually play it....and IMO I thought it looked pretty fun...It's a game in my top 3 (along with PSP2 and KHBBS(KHBBS somewhat because I've already beaten the game in japanese..))

  • If I knew what the fuck was going on in this video it might mean something to me.

  • I'm new to Ys and I was able to grab a used copy of Ys SEVEN. In TRUE GAMESTOP fashion and since its under a month old, it of course was missing the cover art, box and instructions. I hate that BULL SHIT! GS needs to get their shit together, even if they are a glorified PAWN shop. How hard is it to give less trade for incomplete games? How hard is it to discount an incomplete game? I'm fishing for GS employee responses. So I am happy to report that the game is BAD ASS and my kind of RPG.

  • @UseYourDisillusions. . .I feel you so much on that one! Not a GS employee but that shit burns me up so much!! Especially with games that I want to collect. Really annoying!!

  • @HumanGamer Yeah brother, I keep my entire library in PRESTINE condition and if they want to sell it to me bad condition, I will find a way to use their own resources to make the game complete. Anyways, I was a little suprised that a game that new would be missing a box and book. True gamers like to experience everything about the game. I enjoy looking at all the games I have and at the great cover art, before I decide play one. PEACE

  • This is getting localized by xseed, can't wait

  • @Wewto2 This game is a visual, blurry mess during combat! So annoying! This is why I hate Action-Rpg's! I don't recommend this game unless you're a hardcore Action RPG fan that likes looking at blurry, messy combat.

  • @Wewto2 I do like some Action-RPGs... just not this one! It is a burn! Just warning you and anyone else who is thinking of buying this game. Rent first.

  • @JamesQuallLovesPSP This game is actually one of the better action RPGs i've played. And i've played ALOT of em. Sure, the battle system doesn't have THAT much depth, but it's still real enjoyable

  • @Loz8900 I liked Ys:The Ark of Napishtim for the psp (except for load times. Terrible!!) The thing that bothered me the most is the limited party commands! You can't really stop the party from attacking! I was trying to get "stun" on an enemy that is stronger but you can't always because your party keeps attacking! WTF?!?! Then I can't see what is going on! Just a big jumble of colors! I wish they would kept the old formula or done a better job with party AI system.

  • @JamesQuallLovesPSP I can see what you mean by the party commands, but i'm still not getting the blurriness you're talking about. Everything is crystal clear with me and up to speedd

  • @Loz8900 For example, I don't want my party to attack the same enemy I'm attacking but they do anyway... regardless of command setting. Then it just becomes unclear and busy. Not that the graphics are bad, it's just that your party keeps attacking when you don't want them too. It becomes hard to distinguish who is attacking! You know what I mean?? Still a good game, just loses a handful of points on my personal critic scale.

  • @JamesQuallLovesPSP Oh now i know what you mean. Well i've played alot of action rpgs, so I guess I'm kinda used to it. The party attacking without you ordering em to, i mean. It's just personal preference mostly.

  • @Loz8900 I think also paying new, full retail price makes a little more pickier. So it getsme a little more annoyed andcritical. But it's something that makes me think,Why?the developers didn't catch this small annoyance? If it wasn't for those few things,I would say this game is near perfect! Knowing that also boils me! lol Whatever, I just feel people should know about the flaws if they're thinking of buying it.Good thing is that Ys:Oath is coming soon and that game will be awesome!

  • @JamesQuallLovesPSP Well with me, i NEVER buy a game i don't try first, or know it's gonna be good due to all the reviews, previews, and videos. I completely understand that people don't want to dish out $40 for a new psp game and find out it's not up to standards. Also, I have a modded PSP and if I'm not to sure about a game, i download it. If i like it, i buy it, if not i delete it and don't bother. BTW, i'm not a typical pirate, i DO buy a game if i like it. I like to support companies =D

  • @Loz8900 I think it's a solid game overall but the more I played it, I realized the party system was flawed! And it just burned me up! I mean, you play a game like Tales of the World and you get pretty spoiled! lol . There are exploits, like killing your party and going solo, kinda tough though. Or you can unequip party's weapons but spells won't level.. There are a few hidden cool things you can do but this game was made for party, NOT the Ys solo play style. Ys Oath is coming! So that's good!

  • @JamesQuallLovesPSP Ya i really can see what you mean by the party system. But I kinda just ignore it, lol. I just do my best and try not to get killed and have had pretty good luck so far.

  • nice game
